New to the area and already found our spot. We stopped into Silver Tap 928 last week for the first time. Alyssa greeted us like we were longtime friends.
Super chill vibe—we ended up hanging out for karaoke and a couple drinks.
Came back this week after dinner at Bravo for a nightcap. LOMA was playing live and absolutely killed it.
The place is clean, the drink selection’s solid, and the people are fun.
If you’re a stick in the mud, do everyone a favor and skip it.
And listen—I love my dog and adore my kids, but this is not the place for either. This one’s for the grown-ups.

Farleys Pub is back open! This was our first time in the pub, we read about it being one of the oldest bars in Arizona. The owners shared a lot about the history of the bar and that they have had some ghost sighting! Next time your in Globe go by and get a drink.

I kind of love this little place.
I have to choose either four stars or five stars and I was going to give Silver Tap .928 a 4.7 and that’s closer to five. So it’s five stars.
I’ll just tell you what the cons are first.
The cons are that it’s not a tavern.
I love this Bar so much, I just wish they had food and I don’t know why they don’t and I didn’t ask anybody because I’m enjoying everything while I’m there anyway.
Everything is good.
Food just makes everything better. Especially while drinking alcohol because from what I can tell they only serve beverages but not food.
Pros.
Everything!
Clean, refreshing. Everything is shiny and polished. Televisions are crystal clear. Not too loud. Not too quiet. All the staff is fantastic. They’re all very kind. Beautiful smiles all afternoon. All evening. Just a fantastic place to go and enjoy yourself and have a beverage.
Major Pro. They have live music!
Any establishment that supports live music these days is on the top of the list. That’s what pushes the five stars all day and all night.

Floor is nice and clean. Tables are very nice, clean plenty of high top seating stools. All set level, they don’t teeter, they are clean. The bar is beautiful and it’s clean. The bathrooms are beautiful. They are clean. They have the most sophisticated mirror in the bathroom that I’ve ever seen.
Wonderful experience.

Such a fun vibe! Different from any of the other bars in town. Adding comedy night, karaoke night and soon off track betting. Major renovations will amount to major returns ahead and will make the Silver Tap THE place to hang out on Broad Street. When I’m in town, you’ll find me at the Silver Tap.

Been here in globe for 6 years thought I’d give it a shot. -No pun intended.. But what turned me off is no dogs I guess. Even though everyone loved my dog and was enjoying her.
So .. No pets = no service from me.
Or anyone on my social media who ask me where to go for a drink .
I’ll direct my traffic to the bar down the street where people Don’t mind animals.
Also a greet with a smile is always nice which never happened.
Ya I’m a little harsh but I review everywhere I go from a business standard.
So if I give a good review you’ll know it’s 100% earned.
As far as anything else – looked like one server and about 30 people. So I can’t blame her for looking stressed.

Drinks are ok. Went during st Patrick’s day and they were serving corned beef sliders. They were ok. Don’t regularly serve food though. They had a bag piper performance which was nice. Service was very slow. Smokers (a lot of them) are outside on the front patio….depends on what kind of places you like.

It limits seating and standing room for games and conversation. And it’s an eyesore in an otherwise nice set-up of a bar. Staff is attentive and easy to talk with. My cocktail was outstanding. I did not have food. I’m not sure if food is even offered. There is outside seating streetside for those who need a smoke break or enjoying the beautiful day or night.

Fantastic little bar downtown. Cold beer (great selection) and the friendliest service. Sarah was our bartender and I would elect her as the friendliest darn bartender we’ve seen in a while. Great place and great service – we will be back.
