I’ve only been here a couple times now, not sure about ALL the food but the tater tots are PERFECT I love them and the bartenders are very friendly and welcoming. And of course they may be busy when things get full in the bar but they are ON IT. I love asking for surprises you might actually get some interesting drinks.

This place is quite large. There’s a couple pool tables and darts in the front as you go in the door. Some seating to the right and bar, which is quite long with a decent selection of booze as soon as you enter. Keep going to the left back area and there are 2 rows or pool tables. Nice blue felt. Decent tables. Don’t know exactly how many but id say at least maybe 20 tables. Plus more table seating the length of the entire room lining the perimeter. I think the front can be kinda loud for my liking but its mostly due to music or karaoke night. Its a wide variety of people that go there but people seem friendly and up beat from what I’ve seen. Worth checking out or to meet and hang out with friends. Parking can be hard if its a busy night as the lot fills up quick being in a strip mall location. Smoking is only allowed out front and away from entrance so no smoking patio or outside seating.

Had the chicken strips end fries, we also ordered the mozzarella sticks. The chicken strips were more like chicken fingers, and the breading was bland. The fries were way undercooked, and we didn’t eat them. The mozzarella sticks were good, and we would order them again. I would not get the chicken strips and fries again. Service was good. I only saw 1 bartender, and she was keeping up and very friendly, especially since there were a lot of people there.
They have a ton of oil tables, I also saw dart boards for those who like to play darts.
The parking lot is a nightmare. Terrible part of town, so make sure to lock up and help valuables hidden. The parking lot is small, considering they share with many other businesses, and the layout is also a nightmare

The Silver Star Saloon is part Dive bar and part Road House. It has a little bit of everything. Digital darts, old-school darts, video arcade games, Pull Tabs, TV’s with horse racing and more pool tables than you can shake a stick at. When the understaffed bar leads to an overworked bartender saying “I’ll be right with you after I make these drinks,” and then ignores you for several minutes only to then dismiss you with “you aren’t in line,” you know you just gotta blame management. She literally threw the pen down and acted like I was trash for standing there expecting to be able to close my tab after SHE herself said she would help me “after she finished making a couple drinks.” I’d probably give them two stars, but their recent switch to hourly pay only for pool drops it to 1. I was literally being billed to stand in line for 15 minutes waiting to return the balls.

Normally, I would rate this bar better. The food and pool tables are great. Tonight however just irked me something fierce. Came in to buy 4 orders of chicken to-go and a drink while i waited, sadly I left with nothing. When I got there, I came up to the empty well with 2 customers at the bar. The bartender came out and said something to the customer next to me about needing to change the keg. OK, no problem, I am wearing a pretty bright shirt, she definitely saw me. She then comes out, finishes with the 1st customer and continues to help the 2nd customer that was at the bar, still fine maybe they were next. But then she continues to help a 3rd regular who came up after I came in. This is where it became obvious that there isn’t an importance to customers she doesn’t know, so I left. I have been coming here for years for the chicken and always talk it up to other people. This isn’t the first time I’ve been pushed aside for “regulars” at this establishment. Maybe they don’t care about retaining customers they don’t know. ♂️
