While visiting Atlanta I came across this restaurant. Upon passing it on my arrival in town, I noticed it had a line, so I took a mental note to double back, and I’m glad I did.

So so good! We had breakfast here and would recommend to anyone. The chicken is a must for an add-on to go with your biscuits and gravy. Save room for the lemon ice box pie at the end. Heavenly!!

The breakfast was very good. The service was excellent. The chicken and waffles were very tasty. I wasn’t a fan of the biscuits and gravy. I would recommend a stop here.

Old school diner with a refreshing old school level of service and atmosphere. The food is really nothing all that special, but just being at this place makes it feel more special. If you go, allow plenty of time to enjoy it all. Since it is a favorite location for the movie/ TV industry for filming, check their website before making plans to visit as they can be closed at odd times to accommodate filming.

So I found this place after searching for a diner while I had time due to a layover at ATL, and what a find it was. This is a great diner and it was packed because it was a sunny Sunday. There was a line but the hostess saw that I was a single and said “C’mon”.

It’s a greasy spoon, and I loved it. Fun to look at the pictures and read about the who’s who that have visited this establishment. In its own right, the food was excellent. Our server was also very upbeat and fun. My apologies that I failed to remember her name. I would definitely return and would also highly recommend that you try this place out if nearby.

This place makes you feel like home! Good food for good prices and classic diner vibes. Make sure to come early on Saturdays if you want a table quickly! They get people in and out pretty quickly though and it’s worth the wait. Definitely great hangover food too! We got the biscuits and gravy with sausage patty’s on the side – highly recommend

I recently went for the first time to the Silver Skillet and I was pleasantly surprised. I love an old school diner and the silver skillet is just that. We had a group of 5 and we only had to wait about 10 mins on a Sunday at 1230PM.
