My wife and I went here for our 20th anniversary. We wanted to find an elegant but casual place for us to spend an evening together. We were pleasantly surprised by the well prepared appetizers where we had polenta with goat cream cheese, we also had a rattlesnake and Jackrabbit sausage. We tried the Buffalo tenderloin along with a filet mignon.. the service was great and the meal was the electable the steaks were cooked perfectly. Try the cactus fries they are very different but very good. Our waitress Brianna was very pleasant and made sure that we were taken care of. She even made sure there was enough Whiskey in My Manhattan. I would highly recommend this place for adults who wish to enjoy a nice elegant private dining in the Sedona area. The only thing is when we first got there the air conditioning was not on. it got a little stuffy stuffy. We will return. Please be aware this dining room is associated with the next door family dining room.. they will not serve burgers or sandwiches in this dining room only entrees.

We loved the food and the service (Ben was awesome) but they changed the decor and ruined this place. It used to be so private and upscale, and elegant and now it is less upscale than the Cowboy Club next door. What are they thinking?
Ugg. We likely won’t do the Silver Saddle and we will just do the Cowboy Club next time. That said, my mixed grill (chicken, brisket and ribs) were to die for. The Mustang cocktail was also great!

We stumbled across this gem while looking for a nice dinner walking distance and at a great price point. Was very pleased with our table for two at the historic Silvers Saddle fine dining room. This resturaunt is connected to the Cowboy Club but is adult only with a menu that excludes sandwiches. Our Meal included a chef prepared small bite , bread basket, tequila lemon sorbet for pallet cleansing, and a raspberry tart to finish. I got the salmon , my husband a steak- both delicious. Highly recommend.

Best experience I’ve had in Arizona. The waiter, Joel is now my second favorite person (next to my wife). Everything we had to eat was worth 5 stars on its own. If I was local I’d eat here 5 days a week. The wait might seem long on weekends but its still more than worth it!

Amazing service, even the host was fantastic. You could just tell he loved his job. The servers, bus boy, everyone was great…They all worked together as a TEAM! Over the top attention to detail. The bread before the meal was amazing, and they give you little treats before each course of the meal. Really fantastic. Would highly recommend.

We have eaten at the Silver Saddle many times and were looking forward to dinner there last Sunday. It was a very disappointing visit. The service by all was slow and lacking in any interest in the diners. When my meal came, the ribs were luke-warm at best. We did feel our waitress had too many tables. We are hoping our experience is a blip for an otherwise good restaurant.

Brought friends up from Phx to spend anniversary in Sedona and made reservations at the Silver Saddle.
I made sure to tell them it was an anniversary since most restaurants higher end provide a special dessert.
We entered through the Cowboy Club and we were seated at a huge booth…..definitely not conducive to conversation. Oh well. We had the yummy cactus fries and guests had salmon and filet while hubby and I had prime rib. Though pricey, at $36 it was HUGE and the baked potato served with it had its own plate with all of the 6 accompaniments with it. Dishes started piling up… needed more horseradish and butter for potatoe, and water. Could not get either the cowboy waiter or bus boys attention. ( This is a very small place.. hard to miss us). Finally our friends hailed down our server and his response was”well you are not the only table here tonight “. WHAT?
That really turned us off. How one comment like that can ruin a dinner. No dessert offered to friends for anniversary. Food was really good but felt waiter couldn’t have cared less that we were there. With so many wonderful restaurants in Sedona to choose from we will spend our $250 for the 4 of us elsewhere.

If you are in Sedona, eat here! The steak was divine and even the veggies were amazing! And if you can, get one of the cookies that comes with the kid meal. They are heaven! Israel was a great server!
