I’ve been going to the Silver Saddle for over 10 years, and I have to say it’s the best place around. Awesome restaurant and bar with delicious food and great drinks, all served by their friendly and helpful staff. Great prices with a cozy family ambiance. Definitely recommend stopping by if you’re passing through on the interstate, or just want to come say hi to the fellow locals.

We had a great lunch experience here. Food was good and reasonably priced. We had a French dip and a buffalo chicken sandwich, and both were good. The waitstaff was friendly and attentive, and the food came quick. The decor was cute, the atmosphere welcoming, and the bathrooms were also very clean. A great place to pull off along a long stretch of road.

The locals were very kind and sociable. A relatively historic place, glad to see it’s up and running. If you stop in here check out the jail from the 1800s they have out and around the back. Will stop back maybe in August!

Happy to add another 5 star review for The Silver Saddle Restaurant in beautiful downtown Basin! For the last few months we have been meeting with some friends from Butte to plan an upcoming event. The Silver Saddle is the perfect half way stop. The food is delicious and reasonably priced, the staff is super attentive and friendly! They have a little back room that is perfect to accommodate our group of 8-10 people and even allowed us to reserve that space ahead of time! Very impressed with the Silver Saddle Restaurant! I highly recommend a stop if you are traveling through! They are a great example of small town Montana hospitality!!
