Silver Peak Bar and Grill Winnemucca: Where Flavor Meets Comfort …
Reviews
Regardless, the food is amazing. We started with Carne Asada Fries. The fries are perfect, then topped with meat, cheese, Guacamole, sour cream, and other nice stuff. Flavor profile is amazing and very filling. This could be a meal itself.
I ordered a Philly Cheesesteak. Lots of meat, cheese, and bell peppers. Very moist roll, felt steamed! Flavor was beyond expectations. The dish came with a pile of the amazing fries too.
My other ordered the Loco Burrito. The meat was tender and nicely seasoned. The thing could probably feed two people.
We will eat here next we roll through Winnemucca.
The bartender was pleasant enough but mostly ignored us. Never came by to ask how things were. How to trace her down for a second beer. She was too busy talking with another lady in the back
Portions were small. My large burrito might as well have been a frozen microwave burrito.
The vegetarian burrito my wife ordered which literally the fist two ingredients were rice and beans. Had no rice and beans.
All the plates look slapped together with leftovers by a kid.
Over priced and not what was advertised.
I would like to speak with them about this because we just spend $140 bucks for $40 worth of food.
Also not the fire dashers responsibility to provide some napkins and some plastic cutlery. We go neither. Two of our meals had fries and one burger we asked for ketchup.
There was two tiny packs of ketchup.
Poorly done period.
The waitress was very kind and took good care of everyone there.
Within walking distance from my motel room, it was the most convenient place to eat as well.
The place could use some more decorating, though it does have a vibe of its own. Maybe a mural or lamps would be a nice addition.
The prices were pretty up there, but that’s to be expected when going out to eat these days. This time was totally worth it.
Ordered the Salmon Steak, which was cooked flawlessly, crispy skin, vegetables were cooked well, potatoes from scratch it seems, sauce seems to be composed of a mayo/cream, pickle bits and the pickle juice.
Ordered the Ribeye (Mid Rare); which looked promising both in menu and in person; vegetables and potatoes / gravy were great. I sliced into the steak and it was not cooked whatsoever, as in the center was cold. It appears it was previously frozen or maybe came from the fridge and slapped on the grill.
Here’s where the place shines; the costumer service was Impeccable, they had two waitresses running back and forth STEADILY.
They replaced my steak with a burger which wasn’t a fresh handmade patty, but it was still pretty good
I also had a Pomegranate Moscow Mule which was pretty big for a 10 dollar drink, it was also pretty strong whilst being able to be drunk easily
The women’s bathroom was clean, men’s was decent at best, had a urinal directly across from the toilet which wasn’t maintained the best/ had floor moisture/damage.
