It’s now called copper bottom. If you read my other reviews you’ll know that im a wing snob. The wings are fantastic. The fish tacos are great too. Awesome seating outside where the building protects you from the wind. Great bourbon selection, the drinks are awesome. The wait staff are friendly and funny. They’re not afraid to help each other out to make sure you have a great experience.

Parking is a hassle. BUT this place is so clean and the water is not too cold or dirty. It was our 1st time there and will definitely be coming back. I’m from Chicago and don’t really like going to our lake but we all had so much fun. There were a lot of lifeguards around, which gives you some comfort.

I like this place because it’s close to home. It’s got a great looking bar and a good view of the lake. The service is definitely lacking and the food is sub par. You want bar food that is not bad but it’s not great either this place is definitely on the low side of average. The atmosphere is always pretty good though and it is a quiet place most of the time. I will continue to go and enjoy it but also understand what I’m getting when I go.

I only gave a one star because negative seven does not exist in the rating After 2 hour wait our food was coming “soon”. I have never had this bad of an experience. Not even a free beer! Was here many times before and loved it. Tonight I brought a large group of friends and now I look like a fool for speaking highly. Don’t go here unless you want to be humiliated!

I have been here twice recently and the staff is super slow and forget half the things you ask for (and there were 2 waitress and only a few tables to tend to). I recommend ordering another drink as soon as you get your 1st… because it will take 20mins for the next one to arrive. Plus they don’t have a lot of items on the menu. Scenery is gorgeous and the food is decent at best.
