First time ordering from here. Was sent and charged for items we didnt order. Also had some of the food we did order come severally burnt. We called and complained and after a ton of gaslighting and arguing they told us a driver would come and replace the burnt items and refund us for the items we didnt order or want. No driver ever showed up. Called them back 3 hours later and they said they forgot and they coud not send a driver now.

We went in to the silver dragon for my grandmother’s birthday celebration the weekend of June 14th and the staff and cook were so friendly. Lauren was absolutely amazing to deal with. She was so super friendly and kind. The food was absolutely delicious and fresh. They did everything to ensure we had an amazing experience. We will definitely be back. This is our new to-go place for Chinese now. Best food ever.

typical american chinese take out but the dishes really lacked any depth or flavour. they tasted relatively bland! and, we found that the sizes of dishes were a bit on the small side of what you expect when ordering multiple dishes to share. however, the waiter is very friendly we appreciate the service and atmosphere 🙂

Delicious Chinese food! Service is fast and very friendly. My friends and I had been buying good food at Silver Dragon for 6 years now. You should try the food and see how good it is specially how friendly all their staff are. The place is also clean and relaxing.

We tried different combination plates and almost all of them were good. Only nit-pick was that the general tao chicken was a bit too sweet. Got to know I can request it to be more spicy next time. Our server was super nice and thanks to her we had a great time!

I’ve been here a few times and have my memories associated with this place. This is not the best chinese food place and it doesn’t have to be.
It feels more like a throwback restaurant to me where I can go have a decent chinese (Canadian) meal for a reasonable price, in a supremely clean and quite dining space. Sometimes being simple can be quite difficult and this place aces that.

The customer service was phenomenal. The place is cozy and nostalgic, and the food is extremely delicious!! Feels like a movie set. As a person who worked in a neighbourhood staple- I know one when I see one. And this is it. Run don’t walk! Come on over!

Food tasted ok, but it’s missing a lot. For instance, most soo gai has almond flakes or crumbles in it. It was just deep fried battered chicken with gravy. The rice is super plain, tasted like just tiny flakes of chicken in rice with soy sauce and msg. No other veggies in there like onion or even egg as some Chinese places do. Quite plain. The eggroll is the meat paste style eggrolls that people tend to love or hate. Light curry taste, not super meaty tasting, feels more like stuffing.
Staff was friendly and the food is pretty cheap for a restaurant that isn’t fast food, but the dining area needs a major renovation or at least a deep clean. There’s visible food spatter on the wallpaper that I know has been there for at least 10 years.

Honestly I hate leaving bad reviews and the people are really nice but the food just simply isn’t good. I spent $16 on a combo and am so disappointed. It didn’t even come with the fortune cookie I look forward to eating at the end. The egg roll was like nothing I’ve ever ate before and was just not good.
