We hosted our wedding after-party at the Silver Dollar Rooftop in mid October and it was absolutely perfect! Mitchell, the manager, was incredibly easy to coordinate with—he checked in on our drink preferences the week of and even offered to help coordinate food. We ended up bringing in our own food, and the Silver Dollar team worked seamlessly with the pizza place to make sure everything was set up and ready before our guests arrived.
We had the entire rooftop deck to ourselves, which was amazing and provided tons of space for our ~100 guests after the wedding. Downstairs was still lively with karaoke, but they went above and beyond by letting the bridal party jump the karaoke line, which made the night feel extra special.
The service was fantastic, the vibes were spot-on, and the staff was incredibly accommodating. They truly made it as personal and stress-free as possible. We really appreciated how easy they made everything from start to finish.
This is already one of our favorite bars in Carolina Beach—you truly can’t beat the karaoke vibes—and we would recommend the Silver Dollar Rooftop 100 times over. Thank you for helping make our wedding night unforgettable!

My friends and I went there to watch the Eagles game. We sat on the rooftop outside and had a blast! The bartender Dylan was so friendly and fun, we had great conversation and he served us to a T. The manager came up to talked to us multiple times making sure we were comfortable, putting on the Eagles game for us, and providing a friendly atmosphere. It was overall a fantastic experience and I can’t wait to go back!

So cute and decorated for Xmas, Christina was amazing, fixed a drink for us that was made wrong by another bartender. Christina was super friendly and amazing. Definitely going back to see her.

They no longer serve food and are strictly a bar but they said that you can bring food in. The drink prices seemed to be the best on the boardwalk and the bartender was very friendly and accomodating. They open early and are very close to the beach.
No beers on tap but will provide an ice cold pint glass on request. Oldest bar in the area established in 1957.
Not a whole lot going on decor or asthetic wise but they did have some nice tv’s that were actually playing some normal stuff for a bar (a baseball game) which was really refreshing after visiting a few other bars that either didn’t have tvs or were playing really odd channels.

Karaoke is the best. 9-1. DJ Veronica is amazing. Bartenders are very attentive. Everyone is there to have fun. Sometimes the local drunks can get out of hand but, the bouncers are great.

Visited for the first time last weekend with some locals who rave about this spot. It was fantastic! Loved the rooftop, drinks are great, atmosphere is a blast. Definitely the top of my list for my next visit!
