Great first experience at silver branch, lots of indoor/outdoor seating. Food, drinks and service were all exceptional; staff is very beer educated. Will definitely be back in the future!
Next, is the Beer (being a brewery and all..), the beer is very good and they have a welcomed wide variety of beer styles to choose from. I am the VP of a local homebrew club and I seek out breweries everywhere I go to try beer to keep up with different styles and how (new to me) breweries do with their beers. This brewery is better than average as their beers are both technically accurate and are a good representation of the styles as well as providing a large variety of beer styles to suit everyone’s tastes.
The service is almost perfect. The two times that I have been there, the wait staff has been slow to come around to check on things even when they haven’t been busy. When they do come around they are polite and do a great job, but we have had to wait longer than I would have expected for them not being busy at all.
The atmosphere is decent. I have so far only been here in the colder time of year as they haven’t been open long and to my knowledge have only really been open since fall / early winter season of 2023 (which I think I was there my first time just a few weeks at most after they opened). The overall space is surprisingly large but only because they have multiple floors all stacked in different sizes and configurations to maximize the relatively small footprint of the building they are in. They try to make the areas as warm as possible by having a lot of plastic roll-up walls to keep the heat in but it can still be drafty and tight. I believe that they are doing a good job of providing as much useable space as they can for a smaller building footprint and the bottom floor has a decently large contiguous area for tables and they also have bar tops with bartenders at most areas (each floor) and you can sit at the bars as well. If memory serves me correctly, they can even make typical mixed drinks? I’m not 100% sure on that though.
Overall, my impression of this place is pretty awesome and I will be going there this evening for dinner as well. I highly recommend this brewery to everyone (even if you do not like beer much) as this is a great place to hang out with friends and family for amazing food and a great beer selection.
My only complaints were that we sat outside and while there is shade there are no fans to create breeze when it’s very hot. Also when we ordered dinner they brought our food out about 10-15 minutes apart, I had ordered the confit chicken and waited to eat until my mother received her salad and my food wasn’t hot any longer.
I highly recommend Silver Branch, I hope they bring in some live music and get fans for their patios!
Super service and brews. We sat in the heated patio (which was delightfully comfortable on a nippy winter day). The staff took fantastic care of our party of four from flights to coffee refills.
The only food we tried was the pretzel but it was yummy and many of their menu items looked appetizing (making us wish we had met here for lunch instead of elsewhere in town).
