We were able to go to their soft opening night. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the food and beer. I ordered a Bavarian burger with fries and it was very good. My friend had the mussels and he said they were cooked just right and tasted great. He said they were the best he had in a while. We each tried 3 different beers and believe they were all good. We enjoyed the outside seating area. We both believe this place will be great to meet up again.

UPDATE: I recently discovered that the French fries are tossed in beef fat. As a non meat eater this is very upsetting to learn, especially as the menu has not always stated that so I fear I consumed meat when I did not want to. I hope silver branch will consider being more considerate of their non meat eating customers.
Great first experience at silver branch, lots of indoor/outdoor seating. Food, drinks and service were all exceptional; staff is very beer educated. Will definitely be back in the future!

Finally made it to Silver Branch. We were regulars at the former tenant of that building, Warthog, and loved it. Silver Branch is pretty good at filling its shoes. Beer was good… lots of strong beers, but not overly heavy/yeasty like a lot of microbreweries. Food was decent. I had the burger which was not life changing but pretty good. Wife had a salad and said it was on par with warthog. We went for lunch but will need to go back during dinner time to fully assess ambiance.

OK, so the first thing to note here is that the FOOD here is UNBELIEVABLE!!! The head chef is a Michelin Star rated chef and came from the amazing “The Inn at Little Washington” which is a Michelin 3-star restaurant. This unassuming brewery has some of the best food I have ever had anywhere.

Next, is the Beer (being a brewery and all..), the beer is very good and they have a welcomed wide variety of beer styles to choose from. I am the VP of a local homebrew club and I seek out breweries everywhere I go to try beer to keep up with different styles and how (new to me) breweries do with their beers. This brewery is better than average as their beers are both technically accurate and are a good representation of the styles as well as providing a large variety of beer styles to suit everyone’s tastes.

The service is almost perfect. The two times that I have been there, the wait staff has been slow to come around to check on things even when they haven’t been busy. When they do come around they are polite and do a great job, but we have had to wait longer than I would have expected for them not being busy at all.

The atmosphere is decent. I have so far only been here in the colder time of year as they haven’t been open long and to my knowledge have only really been open since fall / early winter season of 2023 (which I think I was there my first time just a few weeks at most after they opened). The overall space is surprisingly large but only because they have multiple floors all stacked in different sizes and configurations to maximize the relatively small footprint of the building they are in. They try to make the areas as warm as possible by having a lot of plastic roll-up walls to keep the heat in but it can still be drafty and tight. I believe that they are doing a good job of providing as much useable space as they can for a smaller building footprint and the bottom floor has a decently large contiguous area for tables and they also have bar tops with bartenders at most areas (each floor) and you can sit at the bars as well. If memory serves me correctly, they can even make typical mixed drinks? I’m not 100% sure on that though.

Overall, my impression of this place is pretty awesome and I will be going there this evening for dinner as well. I highly recommend this brewery to everyone (even if you do not like beer much) as this is a great place to hang out with friends and family for amazing food and a great beer selection.

My mother and I ate here twice in one weekend! The food is really exceptional and the beers delicious. I highly recommend the Tear Drop Salad with shrimp (the shrimp were perfectly seasoned and cooked). The also recommended the Gnome World beer, very caramel and refreshing.

My only complaints were that we sat outside and while there is shade there are no fans to create breeze when it’s very hot. Also when we ordered dinner they brought our food out about 10-15 minutes apart, I had ordered the confit chicken and waited to eat until my mother received her salad and my food wasn’t hot any longer.

I highly recommend Silver Branch, I hope they bring in some live music and get fans for their patios!

First time visiting this brewery and it will not be the last!

Super service and brews. We sat in the heated patio (which was delightfully comfortable on a nippy winter day). The staff took fantastic care of our party of four from flights to coffee refills.

The only food we tried was the pretzel but it was yummy and many of their menu items looked appetizing (making us wish we had met here for lunch instead of elsewhere in town).

First time dining at this newer Warrenton restaurant. The food was incredible, really inventive and interesting choices. We had the mussels and a goat cheese pizza and WOW we were so glad we ordered there. We will certainly go back.

Very nice lunch for a reasonable price! We were very pleasantly surprised. I had avoided this place because frankly the brewery that was there before had garbage beer. This place is much improved. We were originally planning on eating at Claire’s but walked over here instead and we’re glad we did. We will be returning. It’s nice to have another good restaurant in downtown Warrenton!

Silver Branch elevates the brewery experience. I recommend going hungry and thirsty because you’re going to want to have all four courses paired with beers! Their appetizers, salads, entrees and desserts are fantastic. The mussels are melt in your mouth delicious and there are a variety of flavors to try. Try any salad, entree or dessert and you won’t be disappointed. I had the Teardrop salad with Parsnip Gnocchi and the Mouse Napolitano and it was an experience. If you’re not wanting to dine in, grab a pizza to go. I suggest trying one from the seasonal menu, but the hot roni is timeless. And dont forget to drink Silver Branch beer. The Abbycadabra single abby pairs well with everything…but you’ve got to come in to get it soon because like a lot of my favorite Silver Branch beers, it’s seasonal. You can taste a flight and take a six pack of your favorite beer home. From the welcoming hospitality and ambiance to the perfectly crafted beers and food, this new destination in Warrenton is not to be missed. Cheers!
