Really expected but as much so is my disappointed. I sat down and being said that be right be with me. That didn’t happen. She eventually seems to forgot me so I went to the counter. No apologies were there. And I was very quiet and polite. I don’t like being otherwise, but it seems in some places it feels like you can step on or forgotten.
The food was ok, but luck flavorness in my opinion. Like some lemon or olive oil in the salad, more flavor for the falafel (which was well made actually), the shug wasn’t spicy at all.. . I might give the place another chance and hope to be proven differently.

This is an amazing music venue. Come, drink, dance! The place has really cool and unpretentious vibe. We have not eaten there and they seem to have an interesting menu. However, we watched friends waiting an excruciatingly long time for a food order – the well-meaning kitchen staff seemed totally overwhelmed. This could have been a blip, so see if other reviews support this. Best option seems to be to come very early (before bands come on) to eat or dine elsewhere.

We has the lamb shawarma which was quite tough and dry. The hummus was good. Service was very good too. There’s live music playing in the basement so it could get noisy and loud.

Went for lunch. Cute place with nice vibe, had to wait a little to get seats at a very wobbly table. Staff was nice and friendly. Part of the reason we came was because we knew they had a gluten free menu, as one of our family members has celiac. He wanted to order the schnitzel, which was listed as GF on the menu, but we double checked it, and it actually wasn’t! So he got the salmon salad. He said the salmon was very dry. I ordered falafels – which were very good, and the shakshuka, which I didn’t really care for. It was covered in green olives and feta, and I had to dig to find the eggs. The tomato sauce was overly spicy and I left most of it over. The chicken shawarma was too bland, and the fluffy potato chips were ok. Overall, not sure if we will be back, or maybe only to buy something from the cute shop that is in the front area that sells jewelry bags and scarves. Disappointed

Silvana remains one of my favorite spots in NYC. It feels like home and the food always makes me happy, from the crispy cauliflower to the salmon salad. Love, love, love the owners, mgmt team and wait staff. Also, the music every night, ending with a DJ, wins! I have been enjoying this spot for the last 10 years now and always bring fam when they are in Harlem.

The best babaganoush I’ve ever had and overall delicious food, great ambiance.
We also tried the veggie cigars which were delicious, and the fluffy chips which are unlike anything I’ve ever tried before and loved them!
They have cute pieces by artisans, I bought a cute card and noticed they had beautiful makeup pouches and home decor.
Great place to come hang out with friends, enjoy the patio, or stay in. Love working from here and will certainly be back every time I’m in the city.

I tried this place yesterday for the first time & I was so disappointed. The food had no flavors. Chicken was dried like it was pulled off a rotisserie whole chicken it was oily and the hummus was okay not the best I had. The cabbage was okay and the tomatoes and onion mixture was bland I give this place a 3/10. The green sauce and red sauce was disgusting.

Amazing location. Upstairs looks like a cafe and a gift shop, and the downstairs has a bar where they play live music. The food was INCREDIBLE.
