Quaint bakery owned by Chip & Joanna Gaines with pastries, breads & goodies such as cupcakes.

Silos Baking Co., owned by Chip and Joanna Gaines, is a cozy little bakery that specializes in cupcakes. I tried the pumpkin and pistachio flavors, and both were absolutely delicious especially the pumpkin one! The staff, all young and very friendly, made the experience even better. The bathroom was kind of funny the sink is huge, so make sure you’re careful or you’ll get a splash! Overall, a charming spot with amazing cupcakes. Definitely worth a visit!

I was biased by the fact that there was a long line waiting to enter the bakery, I came back later instead. I gave it a try myself and found that cupcakes and cinnamon rolls are very good. I was not expecting it but they were great, I was disappointed I didn’t order more. Next time I will be ordering the whole 6 cupcake box for sure. The only downside: a 15-minute wait for a not very long line. Also, not cheap but definitely worth it.

Sooooo good!! We tried many things because we were visiting from Houston and honestly, nothing disappointed. The cupcakes were creamy and rich and the biscuit was so savory! I wish I could eat here everyday!

So I got an oatmeal creame pie, cookie , I’m warming ya ahead of time way to sweet for that and at $6 I couldn’t even eat 1/4 of it. The smell when the door is opened omgosh if your not hungry it’ll make ya lol. Just wished they had croissants. $4.50 for Cinnamon Roll wasn’t a bad price. There was a line to get in. They hand ya a menu to order from in the line outside. They had some merchandise inside also.

Silos Baking Co. has a beautiful vibe and is such a fun stop, especially as part of the whole Silos experience. The bakery is charming, the aesthetic is on point, and it’s definitely exciting to finally see it in person after growing up watching Chip and Joanna.
That said, the pastries were a bit of a letdown for me. I found them on the dry side — I personally prefer my biscuits and pastries to be a bit more moist and tender. I’m not sure if it was a freshness issue or just their baking style, but it didn’t quite live up to the visual appeal.
Still, it was worth the visit for the experience, and checking this off my Magnolia bucket list made the long trip feel complete. If you’re a fan of the show, it’s definitely something you’ll want to see for yourself — just maybe adjust your expectations on the baked goods.

Delicious cup cakes & cookies. We bought more than we should have. They have some unique flavors. Everything is so yummy.

I have been to the store, but this was an online order. My daughter is in Waco on her birthday. We live far away. My prior 5-star experience was not matched today. I ordered a chocolate cake. There was confusion about pickup/closing time, based on online information. Called phone representative who tried to tell me they only sold cupcakes. Despite conflicting closing time information online, I took chance with order. Got call from Silos just before daughter picking up cake saying cake would be different flavors. This call was even after scheduled pickup time. Hopefully my daughter will have good pickup experience and cake. So, I can’t recommend online ordering.

Even in the rain, there’s a line to get into Silos Baking Co. — and for good reason! The smell of fresh pastries and cupcakes hits you the moment you walk up, and it’s absolutely worth the wait. The staff is friendly, the service is quick, and everything tastes homemade with love. Rain or shine, this place is a must-stop in Waco! ️☕

I bought 4 cupcakes today for $18 before tip at around Noon and they were incredibly dry. This was extremely disappointing. The flavor is amazing, but the texture shouldn’t be cornbread for this price.

Stopped at the Silos Baking Co. while on our vacation and could not have been more pleased with the visit. There was a young lady (sorry I didn’t get her name) outside the door who nwas handing out “Menus” of items served and available inside. I understand this would REALLYT be helpful on bbusy days as I understand crowds can be lined up out the door. As it was, we walkedd right in, made our purchase of coffee, a muffin and cupcake, asas well as cinnamon rolls for the next morning.
Everything was packaged neatly in the bag shown, so I wasn’t able to show you how delicious it was. My advise to everyone … arrive early. Be aware, the Silos and Magnolia Table locations have come to be destinations. Yeah, there are VERY busy days, so plan accordingly.
