I also got their iced matcha, and as a matcha lover, I was impressed.. it’s real ceremonial matcha, not the fake stuff. We also shared the beer pretzels with the infused beer cheese and loved those too.
Service was quick, super friendly, and the manager even stopped by to greet us and told us everything is made from scratch with fresh ingredients, which was the cherry on top for us! Will definitely be back next time I’m in Nashville.
Our server Juan David went above and beyond with his suggestions, sharing the back story of the restaurant, and providing such attentive service. Everything was so good that we even asked to speak with the manager Alex, who was also incredibly kind and welcoming.
We are only in town for the weekend but I already plan to come back again before we leave. Truly outstanding all around!
My favorite dish is the miso BBQ salmon—it’s absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. The drinks are amazing as well; everything is well-crafted and consistently high quality. On top of that, their coffee is locally sourced, which makes the experience even better and shows their commitment to quality.
The atmosphere is warm, stylish, and welcoming, and the staff is friendly, attentive, and professional. Whether you’re there for food, cocktails, or just great coffee, Silo Es delivers every time.
Highly recommended—this place truly deserves 5 stars.
For breakfast, I tried the avocado toast, and it was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared, simple but done really well. It’s a great option to start the day.
Dinner was just as impressive. The miso salmon was delicious, cooked perfectly, and packed with flavor. I also enjoyed the cobb salad which was fresh, well-balanced, and generously portioned. Everything felt thoughtfully made with quality ingredients.
The service was friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. Whether you’re stopping by for breakfast, dinner, or just a casual meal, Silo is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The ambiance struck us right away — warm and inviting, yet spacious. Tables are nicely spread out so you’re not too close to your neighbors, and there’s a bar area that adds a laid-back charm. The high ceilings on the ground floor give it an airy feel, and the overall vibe was stylish yet unpretentious — the kind of place where you could easily linger for hours.
Food & Drinks:
One of the coolest things about this place is their collaborative menu concept — they’ve partnered with local favorites to round out their offerings. You can order draft beer from Yazoo, coffee from 8th & Roast, and pizzas from Five Points, along with their own in-house dishes. It’s like getting a taste of Nashville all in one spot.
Yazoo Locale APA
I started with a Yazoo Locale APA — light, crisp, and super refreshing. Just the kind of beer I enjoy. It paired perfectly with the food and set the tone for the night.
Charred Steak Bowl
This dish came out looking like a rainbow in a bowl — vibrant and full of texture. The charred steak was cooked to a perfect medium: tender, flavorful, and nicely seared. While I usually go for medium-rare, this was chewy in a good way and seasoned beautifully. It came with roasted grape tomatoes, sliced carrots, mushrooms, broccoli, and a bed of aromatic jasmine rice. Everything was balanced, both in flavor and in texture. If you’re a rice bowl fan, this one’s a must.
Mac & Cheese Croquettes (Vegan)
These surprised us in the best way. Golden and crispy on the outside, with a smooth, not-too-cheesy filling that had great flavor. The sauce underneath added just the right amount of kick without overpowering the dish. Light, flavorful, and not greasy at all — we absolutely loved these and would order them again in a heartbeat.
Overall, we had a wonderful time. The food was thoughtful and delicious, the drinks hit the mark, and the whole place had a relaxed, easygoing energy that made us want to stay longer. We’ll definitely be back — and we’re already telling friends to check it out. Highly recommend!
I was told ahead of time that the manger would email me the gluten free menu, but I never got an email. I was also told a note would be put on our reservation but it appeared that the restaurant was blindsided by our gluten free request as the server had to go into the back and ask the chef what her options would be. We are not a hard-to-please family, but my sister has celiac disease and I had called around to many restaurants to find one that would accommodate her allergy, and wanted to make sure she had a good Thanksgiving dinner as well.
The atmosphere was also lacking in our opinion, and three small circle tables were just pushed together so we were all sitting far apart. We had to ask for serving utensils for many dishes, as well as ask for the stuffing. We had to ask for a cocktail menu. Overall we liked the food, but felt misled on the gluten free options and a bit disappointed in the experience, especially considering the price.
Ps: Our server was nice, and we are thankful that he chose to work on Thanksgiving. The wine pairings were good. It just all seemed disorganized, and we won’t be back because of that.
