Highly recommend. We order from here all the time. Our favs are Plov, Galubtzi, Khonim, Manti, Samsa…all incredible. It tastes like tradition and homemade goodness, like someone is sharing their family recipes with you. Compliments to the chef
Albeit the restaurant is 7-8 miles away the food delivery arrives warm or even piping hot depending on the item. So everything is made very fresh. It takes time to prepare all these delicious meals, so I can see the kitchen needing the time but it’s worth it. I also appreciate the way they package everything up. Minimal amount of plastic and almost everything is recyclable.

We had a great experience here. All the dishes were fresh and delicious, the staff was so warm and helpful, and the setting, especially the little room with pillows where you can take tea and dessert, was just beautiful. Highly recommended!

If you are craving authentic Central Asian comfort food, Silk Road Choyhona is the real deal. We came specifically for a few staples and they did not disappoint:
Samsa: Perfectly flaky, golden crust with a juicy, well-seasoned meat filling. You can tell these are baked properly—they have that incredible traditional aroma.
Kebab: We tried the lamb and beef, and both were tender and smoky. They clearly use high-quality cuts, and the char from the grill adds that perfect ‘street-side’ authenticity.
Lagman: This was the star for me. The noodles had that distinct, bouncy pull that only comes from being hand-pulled. The broth was rich, savory, and loaded with fresh vegetables and tender meat.
The atmosphere is warm and the service is attentive without being overbearing. It’s the kind of place that feels like a home-cooked meal in the best way possible. Definitely coming back to try the Plov next!

What was ordered:
Plov Special: included a salad, bread w/ butter, and a can of soda.
The salad ingredients were fresh and a good appetizer for the main entree.
The meat was very tender and flavorful. The rice was well cooked and surprisingly sweet but not too sweet.
Overall, I’m satisfied for my first experience trying Uzbekistan cuisine.

10/10 food experience. Truly amazing from start to finish. My husband and I love to try new restaurants and for the past few years nothing has really excited us. Most places are average and leave us with a horrible stomach ache.
This place was nothing short of amazing. We tried numerous dishes, each impressing us more than the last. The atmosphere is adorable and beautiful. The foods flavor and experience felt like I sat at a friend’s house with a home cooked meal. The meat was perfectly flavored, soft, and delicious. The rice hit the spot. The tea, amazing. Honestly can’t wait to go back and try more foods!

Absolutely loved this place! The menu offers a fantastic mix of European and Central Asian cuisine, and everything we tried was incredibly delicious. The kebab selection is impressive, and the Uzbek-style plov (pilaf) was the real highlight — rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The atmosphere is warm and vibrant with beautiful Central Asian touches that make the experience feel authentic and special. Service was fast, friendly, and multilingual, which made everything easy and welcoming. I’m already looking forward to coming back and trying more dishes. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys great food and a cozy atmosphere!
