Big shout out to the kitchen for making great food but the biggest problem here is that some of the staff are in another world I went in there 2 days in a row and watched people running around likes it’s the circus doing absolutely nothing I seen a girl stick knife in the toaster walk to the kitchen came back out and go to the register look at her phone meanwhile there is about 5 people in line. Number one problem here is that it’s a deli/diner kinda place which is great but the problem I’ve noticed that the staff caters to the customers that are dining meanwhile the lines out the door. Rule of thumb it’s better acknowledge your customer that are waiting to order with a simple “hi I’ll be right with you” or just “hello” this how businesses fail because the lack of communication and recognition of your valued customers.

We stopped here for sandwiches on the way to the Orient Point Ferry. We wanted something “not Subway”. My wife and I got Reubens my kids got the Chicken quesadillas and Roast Beef Sandwich. (Boars Head meat!) The food was excellent and the interior was fresh and inviting despite the tired look of the exterior. My only complaint was that our to-go meals had chips included with them (packed up in the bags of food), and we didn’t realize this, so we grabbed chips on the way to the register. She charged us for the double chips without saying “Hey, you realize the chips you ALREADY paid for are in the bags, right?”

Placed an order over the phone for a sausage and egg on a roll, bagel with butter and bacon egg and cheese on a roll. Came home and found a strand of black hair. I called and told the staff what happened and they said they would make me another one free of charge. When I arrived they checked the container and gave me my sandwich. I come home and instead of a bacon egg and cheese on a roll I get an egg bagel with bacon, egg, cheese and ketchup. I can understand the first mess up but the second is unforgiveable. If you ever place an order over the phone make sure you check you food before you leave.

Then while I waited for his attention back another staff if I still needed help I said well I just need to add to that order that he started. He then told me sir I’m get My to your order I’m just helping other people. ♂️

I visited this place and was blown away by the service and how incredible the bagel I ordered was! I got an Asiago bagel with lox and a side of home fries and every part of the order tasted incredible. Thank you so much for the great food and friendly service!
