Went with a group of Cantonese friends to this restaurant for lunch based on their years of experiences that the restaurant serves high quality Hong Kong dim sum. As such, we ordered a whole bunch of dim sum dishes to feast upon (a bit too many). Overall, both appearances and tastes of all the dishes selected felt great to each of us. Also, as mentioned by other reviewers, the service can indeed be quite slow. Nevertheless, the servers are helpful and one of them even packed all the leftovers dishes nicely on our behalf (to my surprise) when it is time for us to go. This restaurant is definitely worth coming to experience Hong Kong dim sum cuisine.

5 stars all the way through and through. I came here for dimsum and discovered it’s a real nice Chinese restaurant. Excuse my poor photo skills at the moment..The things I’m reviewing just really pops up to me so here it is…

Came here at 6pm, got seated immediately, ordered food and food came fast – got tea, pickled daikon/carrots and all the foods within 15 minutes.

Foods – it’s on the more expensive side of Chinese foods but every dish is flavored perfectly to its dish as needed (not super greasy, not too sweet, not too salty etc). There’s live crab and lobster but the fishy odor doesn’t smell to the dining area – fresh crustacean are the best. I’m satisfied with the quantity of food on the plate – it was just enough and is presentable.

Customer service – it’s amazing!!! There wasn’t a lot of people when I first went but it started getting busy while I ate. All the workers were buzzingly through with their duties but doesn’t seem busy/rushed or not doing anything. We asked for service a few times and they got us right there and quick. When we’re done eating, they offered soup and cookies on the house – don’t know why as I barely eat at dimsum/nice chinese restaurants but it was delicious. Yellow cookies is in the picture, it’s not fortune cookie – it’s tastes freshly baked, crunchy but soft – something like a sweet tooth grandma will approve.

Location – the restaurant wall is right next to Ramada hotel, open the doors and you share restroom with Ramada. Conveniently, I think staying at Ramada and eating good sounds great.

Overall, I had a fantastic experience. The leading person on the floor for waitors/waitresses was amazing with directing – leadership and teamwork was visible and strong.

Should you come eat here? Yes. Please be a polite customer!!
Do a lot of Asian dine here? Yes, that’s how you know the food is authentic.
Do they speak Mandarin & English? Yes, every worker speaks English.

The restaurant is located within Ramada, the main entrance however is facing outwards. Quite crowded over lunch and can see many people visiting for lunch! Overall the foods are good, we tried their dim sum, bun and noodles. The portion was huge but worth it!

the beaten path, but well worth it.

The service is a little slow here and that’s the reason for the drop in one star. It was a good 10 minutes before anybody even came to our table and then they were a little short with us during the whole experience, but that’s to be expected.

The food here is spot on amazing, fresh and great flavors. We both finished all of our dishes and loved every bite.

Great place for dimsum. Everything was delicious. Quality made. The only thing is you order from a menu which you mark with a pencil. No carts going around.

Incredible dim-sum gem nested in Sunnyvale. You’d easily underestimate this legit restaurant as it’s part of Ramada hotel. The quality and variety of dim sum is excellent. The staff is friendly and attentive. Overall, Sifu Wong easily better than other large names bay area restaurants. Highly recommended.

Probably the best dim sum I’ve had in the Bay Area so far (been to Koi Palace, Saigon, and New Port too, and this still wins). Recommend getting their roasted duck!!

We ordered way too much dim sum, but no regrets.
The salted egg yolk lava bun? Molten, rich, and absolutely divine.
But the real standout was the lychee shrimp ball, it was crispy on the outside, savory and chewy inside. Sweet, salty, and totally unique.

Definitely coming back… with a bigger appetite next time.

There are hits and misses, but overall it is decent in the region where dimsum is in general a disappointment. Koi Palace on Milpitas is still better, but their service really sucks.
