Wife and I stopped in for lunch, I ordered the grouper sandwich blackened with a side of coleslaw and wife had Atlantic haddock fish and chips. Beautiful outdoor seating, somewhat reasonably priced, sunny 65 degree February at noon what’s not to love!
Service was perfect, grouper sandwich cooked perfectly, very tender. Had sandwich on brioche bun with their tartar sauce, onion tomato and lettuce. Very fresh but messy. Cole slaw as a side also very good but nothing to write home about.
Wife had fish and chips and I would order this dish myself if we returned. Very flaky haddock, a little greasy as to be expected but 3 large pieces. She got the fries with it which were good but not great.
I do think if you’re having a drink or 2 and taking a break from the beach this is perfect. We biked up and had water so I think a drink or 2 is where this establishment will shine. Pretty good value on siesta key. Enjoy!

This is a busy place most days, so be kind & patient! We caught a break and found bar seating at the ‘corner bar’ near the restrooms. Bartender was friendly & courteous and gave great menu recommends which was so great as we’re from the West Coast.. The Grouper Reuben FTW and Key Lime pie for dessert. Of course we had to try the raw oysters as well, but I forgot to snap a pic of them . I don’t think there’s a wrong choice on this menu. Live entertainment is common here and our musician played Eagles & Zeppelin. He was really good and I really enjoyed his playlist.

We very much enjoyed our dinner! We got the street corn dip appetizer, Mac and cheese with grilled chicken, and the shrimp po’ boy. All were delicious and came out very fresh. Our server was attentive despite how busy the restaurant was.

Great spot any time of day.
Siesta Key Skob is an excellent choice for brunch, lunch, or dinner.
The staff was outstanding, the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming and the food was really good.
Kyle, our server, was fantastic and made the experience even better.
One of those places you always remember – definitely worth a stop if you’re in town, even if just for a day or two.

SKOB!!! Everything about this place is fun. They have live music every day and the bands are always great. The place is ultra casual and shorts and flip flops will do. The food is consistently good and bartenders serve up fabulous cocktails. Tonight the “baby shark tank” (see pics) stole the show. But we went for the oysters which we seemed to have overdosed on last year. They didn’t last long enough for me to take a pic…next time. From 3-6pm they sell them for $12 a dozen. You don’t have a choice of the oyster type, but they are decent for the price. Everything on the menu is good, but I particularly like the scallops and fish tacos. There can be a wait for a bar seat or table especially in season and they typically stay busy all day long.

We had such a wonderful experience at SKOB in the Village. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was fun, inviting, and full of great energy with amazing music setting the vibe.
We were seated super quickly, the wait staff was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and clearly proud of what they do—and the food was extremely delicious. Every bite was spot-on.
This place truly delivers on atmosphere, service, and flavor. We’ll absolutely be back and highly recommend it if you’re in Siesta Key looking for a great meal and a great time. ️ ✨

Live music and great food. Oysters were alright since I had better oysters the previous day. The fish of the day was excellent which was served with coconut rice. The fish had a few options of grill, blackened or grill with Caribbean spices. Apple pie and ice cream was one of the best I have had.

We drove down to Siesta Key yesterday. Ate lunch at this cool little spot. The food was . Some the best fish n chips I’ve had, and each bite of the seafood quesadillas were dense and tasty. Highly recommend if you’re ever in the area. Great live music, too.

Such a fun spot. Right off main stretch with live music. Didnt have drinks as we came in after a beach day but food was delicious. Blue cheese and bacon oysters… best oysters I’ve had yet. You can tell its been around for decades as the inside is covered in dollar bills and memorabilia. We will come back when we are in the areas for sure.
