This is nice little TAKE-OUT only strip mall Cambodian Restaurant that is family run. It’s great for a quick meal. They clearly indicate gluten free dishes on the menu, and are knowledgeable about ingredients. There is a nice variety of entrees and a whole list of soups that are similarly priced leading me to wonder about the portion sizes. The Cambodian Curry is hailed as the top dish with a Chicken and Shrimp stir fry being popular. On the soup front, Tom Yum is popular, and the Samlaw Khmer is notable as a tomato/pineapple blend with some interesting flavours. Our crew went for most of these and were quite happy. For the price, I was a bit surprised the soup portion to be a small take-out container – definitely not the same value as the entrees . While the flavours of the Samlaw Khmer soup were good, they were not as rich as I had hoped and it was a bit watery. Portion sizes of the entrees was decent but quite a bit of rice. Still for the the price, the entrees are a decent value compared to other restaurants these days.

Food was absolutely delicious. This was my daughters first time having red curry chicken (number 1) and she loved it! Staff there were so pleasant and speed of food service was great.
Well done and thank you!

I ordered green curry with tofu but when I got home there was chicken instead of tofu. The sauce tasted like a glue paste sauce with coconurt and there were probably 2 or 3 pieces of brocoli and cauliflower. The worst Thai food Ive ever had. I had to add my own veggies from my fridge which made it more bearable. I covered the bland glue sauce taste with soya sauce I had in the fridge. This restaurant is terrible and will probably close down for good soon. Order instead from the Golden Demrei Restauranr or Cat House Chiangmai Cuisine instead.ya live and you learn.

Went there on 21 Apr 23, takeout only. We ordered a rice paper roll with shrimp, Pad Thai with Chicken (#15) and the Cambodian curry (#7). Appetizer was okay, fresh, mostly lettuce but that makes it crispy. The fish sauce seemed somewhat diluted with chopped peanuts added. I personally like salad rolls with a 50/50 mix of half hoisin sauce/half peanut butter as a dip. The main courses were mostly carbs, not many vegetables and even less protein. The curry was flavourful, but had hardly anything other than sauce and rice. Pad Thai was lack luster, not the worst but definitely not the best I’ve had, and mostly noodles (texture and flavour were not great). Pros: portions were big, food was hot, curry flavour and service were good. Cons: not much substance to the dishes. I wouldn’t go there again.

Quick and very friendly service, decent food for sure. We had dinner for two for $50 – two pop, two appetizers, and two mains.
We give it a 7/10. Tasty, I suspect we’ll be back.

We were really happy with our takeout. Family of 4 (kids 8 and 10). This is a great family owned and run establishment. We will be back.

Called in to place an order for a chicken mee cha, because it’s a cambodian dish and I wanted to try something new. The portion was great, but flavour wise it’s nothing to really write home about. A little too sweet and too saucy for my liking. I asked for extra spicy and they delivered it. I probably won’t order this dish again. BUT i’m gonna give this place another shot and order something thai instead and see how it turns out. Will update my review when that happens!

The food was excellent I got a pork and shrimp thing with spring rolls it cost over 15 buck no drink just the meal. I finished it and made myself a sandwich at home and was still hungry they have me a big cup of fish sauce and no hoisen sauce But a little thing of hot sauce. Its too bad I am Feeling like it was very small for the price and there were only 3 shrimp 7 slices of pork and one spring roll. Now had the cost been more reasonable I would likely feel better as I say the food was delicious. God Bless

Good food but I would say there are better Thai options in the city. The pad Thai was the surprising winner of our meal.
