My boyfriend and I ate dinner here last Saturday. It was our first visit. We did have a reservation so there was no wait upon arrival.
Our server was Bella and she was delightful and friendly. We ordered alot of food and everything was delicious. My boyfriend did not care for the espresso martini but we enjoyed everything else. The dessert (gingerbread something) we wanted on the menu we were given was out of stock or out of season so we did have to choose something else but the cheesecake was divine!
We had one mishap at the end of the night, where our main courses were not in our takeout bag. Thankfully we realized it before our 45 mins drive home. They had it in the kitchen, just forgot to give it to us.

Really enjoyed the special meal with my wife of 45 years. Food was savory and tasty to the paste bite.
Nice old historic building that has been a tavern or Restaurant for more than 200 years
We had the Brussels sprouts shareable, the warm shrimp salad, Artichoke Char and 10 oz prime sirloin topped off with cheese cake shared.
Our stomachs were happy along with our taste buds
See photos and menu.

I had a great walk-in experience with no reservations needed, and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The bartender provided excellent service, making me feel right at home.
I highly recommend trying the Cold Crab Corn Soup—it’s absolutely out of this world! Additionally, the Watermelon Salad was a fantastic choice; it was fresh, flavorful, and truly delicious. The staff’s recommendation was spot on.
The ambiance was pleasant, and the place, along with the bathroom, was spotless and well-maintained. Overall, a wonderful dining experience I’d happily repeat!

We had the pleasure of visiting Sidney Tavern in East Berlin and were genuinely impressed. We tried the rum punch, which we think might be seasonal, and the raspberry and rose. Both drinks were full of flavor and beautifully balanced.
The new gnocchi was incredibly soft and comforting. As a vegetarian, I was excited to see solid plant based options on the menu. You have to try the black bean burger. It was easily one of the best I’ve had locally.
The atmosphere is cozy and elevated with a welcoming small town feel. The interior is filled with interesting artwork that gives the space a creative and personal touch. It’s the kind of place that feels both relaxed and refined.
It’s about 25 to 30 minutes from Seven Valleys, tucked in the heart of East Berlin, making it a great little getaway spot for dinner or drinks. Overall, Sidney Tavern gets a solid 10 out of 10 from us. Definitely worth the trip.

Really great food. We both had the Filet Minon. Even better service. Historic building beautifully restored. Plenty of parking.
This is definitely not a fast food restaurant. We had reservations for 5:00 p.m. because we were going to a 7:00 p.m. concert in Hanover. Even though we arri arrived 10 minutes before the restaurant opened we were seated immediately. We were finished after 6:30 p.m. We got to our seats at The Eich literally 2 minutes before the concert started.

In a word… phenomenal! From the moment we walked in the door, we felt welcome and right at home. We were seated beside a fireplace, very nice! Our waiter Brad greeted us and presented us with the extensive wine menus. He was very knowledgeable and after making some suggestions, we made our selections. Our drinks came out quickly and were so good. I highly recommend the “Mrs. Clause’s Red Dress”. It was delicious. Dinner menus were brought out and we selected the Potato crisps to share, my husband chose the Hamburger with Steak fries and I had the Prime Beef Short Rib. I must say, everything was cooked to perfection and plated beautifully. Each course was timed perfectly. We were seated where we could see into the kitchen. I really enjoyed watching this entourage of culinary professionals interact with each other like a well oiled machine. I have seen some comments that this place is expensive, but let me say this… you get what you pay for. It is WELL WORTH the price for the quality of food and the experience. We are so fortunate to have such high caliber dining in our area.

Loved the fall cocktails! Food was delicious and the chocolate cake was even better!! The only thing to be careful of is if the server asks you if you want bread to be brought out it is NOT complimentary. I had already ordered a starter, which was a garden side salad for $16 but was charged an additional $8 for bread that I only had a small piece of….just beware nothing is free if it is offered. Server was attentive. Might return but not any time soon.

Looked for fine dining in Gettysburg to celebrate our anniversary, but there aren’t a whole lot of options. Stumbled upon Sidney and so glad that we did. It is about 25 minutes outside of Gettysburg, but an easy drive and wonderful food. Wide ranging selection of wines (price wise), interesting mixed drinks, and an amazing filet mignon! We would definitely recommend to people looking for a special dining experience!
