I don’t have idea how my wife get into this place, she owns the activities whole day in a Sunday and we started here.

I did not have any expectations about the food, and I never tried before.

When arrived, there’s a really small place, but for the language speak, I assume that people from Afrika was there, never hear dialect or pronunciation before, this is always a good sign, I mean seeing local people eating there.

We order fried rice with meat and fish, beans, and the fried plantain platter. The food is out of this world, I really enjoy it. I don’t want to offend anybody, but if black pepper is spicy for you, this may not be your place, everything is really seasoned and have some bit on a spice flavor, the beans were really spicy, lol.

Ill definitely return to this place to try different things, after leaving the place I asked and this is food from Gana.

I do recommend visiting this place 100%.

Always a great west African food here. Spicy flavorful and nice service. We were able to try a lot of things. Love the suya it goes out fast but we were able to get some today. They renovated the inside so dining in experience is also a lot better

Whenever I am travel, I always make sure I try an African food along the way. This location was a little bit of my route, it was Sunday morning at 10AM. I was surprised it was open, most African restaurant tend to open late on Sunday or not open at all. But this place was open at 10AM, and all food were available. I asked the lady to give me a as sample of her groundnut soup. Usually I determine if a restuarant is good or not by a sample of groundnut soup. It was delicious. I ended up by waakye, banku with the soup, choking, hausa koko, bofrot. This place got me excited. The gentleman that too my order was super friendly. I usually dont have this experience in other places. I will definitely stop here every time I am here. Service great, food great.

Kebab was very dry and the jollof rice didn’t taste fresh or good, then I’m also looking at old reviews and someone mentioned maggots in the chicken!!?? Absolutely not will be throwing the rest of my food away.

Loved it. It was clean. The service was great. The people were friendly and the food was great. I would definitely recommend this place for quick and good food or even a warm lit date night in the city. Just depends on what time you go. The menu is great and offers a lot and the prices are great too.

I really enjoyed this restaurant. I took my mom here and we shared two stews (goat and Egusi) and I had pounded yam for my starch. The flavor and spice were on point and the goat was meaty and portioned very well. Will be back later this week.

The staff and customer service was awesome. The young man at the counter took time to explain meal options and most popular dishes.

Be advised seating is very limited.

Ooh I love the Waakye. I order it each visit there. It’s Delish!! Not much interaction with the staff but they were not rude so I felt it was safe to come back so I did. Next time I will step out of my comfort zone and ask for a recommendation from staff. The drink was very strong so if you love ginger go for it. It reminds me of a serious ginger beer drink.

My wife and I have always wanted to try African food, so today we decided to look up nearby restaurants. This place showed up on Google, and we gave it a try.
The restaurant was small because it’s a mom and pop shop, the staff was friendly and answered all my questions.
I picked up fufu with goat soup, and joloff rice with chicken to go.
The fufu was good, the goat soup was super flavorful and spicy (I love spicy food), and the rice was super tasty and had a smoky flavor to it. The food was definitely comfort food.
I would come back here again to try more, and I would definitely recommend this restaurant to all my friends and family.
