Great vibes. Appreciate our server-he was great. I’ve been here for drinks before on the rooftop but never for food. Can’t go wrong with beverages. Food was good. I wished I had ordered something else. Didn’t expect the grilled cheese to lack flavor. But adding Cholupa helped. My partner got the bbq burger w/regular fries. He loved it. All in all I recommend this place. It serves a wide audience. You can come w/your kids/family, or chill with your friends or go on a date.

Im sure that the service may be better than how it was the day we happen to go; unfortunately we choose to go on gameday, if you can help it, I wouldn’t recommend going at this time, unless you want to bask in the ambiance of many who came to eat and watch the game. The entire restaurant was packed, making it a long wait time to just be seated, but even after being seated, this doesn’t mean you’ll finally have any interaction with the waitresses. It took over 10 minutes just to be greeted and have drinks be taken, and over 6 minutes for the drinks to even hit the table(which was only 4 waters and a dr pepper); i would have to also say drink sparingly, as on game days your drinks don’t get refilled, we spent most of the time there sitting with empty glasses during the entire meal. I took to chewing ice just to wet my pallet and keep it from getting dry eating the food served; which other than the sidewinder pretzel starter, was really dry and or soggy. I ordered a jalapeño popper grilled cheese, with a side fries; i don’t know if it was just cooked and sat out for a while for it to cool off and be able to eat or what, but the cheese either looked partially melted or just dried and shriveled up after sitting for a a long time going untouched. As for the fries; I can tell the flavor would have been fantastic, but, it just seems like they were just sitting in the fry basket for a few hours, no crisp to them at all, just the slight flavor of crispness and mushiness. They tasted like five guys fries left over night. As for the service we got from the waitresses, it was barley existent its as if we were just air sitting there, no checkups no asking how things were going(hence why no refills). I want to go back during a non gameday to see if it changes, but so far not a great overall impression, for what may be the only time I’ll be able to go.

Great smash burger and fries! The wife’s chicken strips where too crispy but good flavor. The fried mozzarella was very good. Freindly staff super busy.

Very lively and large sports bar, themed with American military decor, plus a nice big bar + fireplace. Best chicken pot pie we’ve ever had, anywhere. Bison burger & french onion soup were very good as well. The mac n cheese was mid. Good service. We’ll definitely be back!

We had wings and burgers.
The burger was good but not the fries, please have a look into this….we received our fries cold and soggy.
The wings were great, i would go back for this, the blue cheese dressing was TOP.
Friendly associates and 76 draft beers to choose from..impressive!

We were there for our first time and they looked very busy, even so, the 3 of us were seated right away. Our server was great! He was quick and very attentive. The food was delicious and also surprisingly quick! We’ll definitely be back, I saw quite a few things on the menu I want to try!

Food was ok nothing great and spectacular. The reuben was light on the meat and the burgers patty didn’t cover the the bun. They do use leaf lettuce instead of ice berg which is nice from other burger places. The baked beans were great with good flavor. The music is so loud that it’s hard to hear others when trying to have a conversation. Our waitress forgot our waters, she brought out our appetizer and went to another table. We were half way through the appetizer when she returned to see how things were when we asked about getting our waters. She looked surprised and looked at the table like we were mistaken about not having them. But all in all it is a nice establishment.

Came to Bozeman for the first time ever from Minnesota to visit friends. They wouldn’t shut up about how amazing Sidewinders was the whole weekend, personally this place wasn’t great. Little to no gluten free options – you’re better off getting no bun than that gross typical UDIs sponge. My friends got the pizza which looked fantastic but don’t get your hopes up because they don’t offer gluten free crust. I had to order the pesto chicken it sounded good and for the most part it was but I will say if you order the grilled chicken from this place you gotta have a beverage on standby. Dry, flavorless, unseasoned. If you’re gluten free save your money and go elsewhere. You’ll leave hungry and unsatisfied.

I’ve eaten here multiple times and the food has been very good. I’ve had burgers, pasta, sandwiches, and nachos. Everything has had great flavor and the service has been good. The only issue is that it is normally packed with business so it can be hard to get in.

Sidewinders American Grill – A Hidden Gem for American Comfort Food
Sidewinders is a top-notch choice for classic American fare with a healthier twist. The bison chili is the standout — hearty, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. A close runner-up? The truffle fries — crispy, savory, and addictive. While it does get busy during peak hours, every visit has been worth it. One of the best parts? All the food — from burgers to fries — is prepared without seed oils, a rare and welcome commitment to cleaner cooking. Highly recommended!
