Sidewalk Cafe is the premier homestyle restaurant in the Denton and Cornith areas. We feature fresh, cooked-to-order meals for both dine-in and carry-out. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner! Omelets, skillets, country fried potatoes, Southern style grits, and more. Plus, chicken fried breakfast, and entire South of the Border breakfast menu, which includes tacos, carnitas, migas, chorizo and eggs, and huevos rancheros. It was my dad’s birthday and I told him to pick a place that he wanted to go and have some brunch. He said I haven’t been to this place in a while, but I’ve been wanting to go back, so we did.
We were greeted with a friendly face, and there was no wait for a table, so we were immediately sat.
This is such a cute little homestyle, looking restaurant with pies and desserts that look so delicious! They also had a sign stating that they sell tamales. Which is a good thing to know when you’re just craving some. The place was busy for a mid morning in the middle of the week, including a group of elderly ladies wearing their festive hats and enjoying their girl time!
The food came out pretty quickly, and everyone walked out with full bellies and smiles on their faces! There was nothing to complain about here. Our waitress even brought out a slice of delicious lemon pie to celebrate my dad’s birthday.
And let me tell you, if you are a person of faith and want to be around someone of the same, you need to ask for Angelina! That girl is bold and courageous about her faith and I absolutely love it! She made the experience of a birthday even more fun! She snapped our family photo stating that it is a company policy to be in the picture ♥️ I can’t remember the last time we’ve had so many laughs at a restaurant with our server!!

We stayed at the hotel next-door for six days and we ate at the Sidewalk Cafe every day, even though there were many other options around there. Every item we tried was delicious. The service was good. The staff was friendly and helpful. In addition to dining inside, we called in orders and it was ready when we arrived. Highly recommend.

Its been a while since I’ve been here. I forgot about this little gem. It’s actually a nice homey feel kind of place. It was busy but our server Emma was awesome! She was attentive, with a great memory and personable. She shared great life goals. Much of luck to her.
My brother and I met up with an awesome couple that we consider family! We had breakfast although it was early afternoon. The food was very tasty and filling! We had omelets. One person had pancakes.
We went on Sunday 8/17/25.

Tops for omelets. We each did the “build your own” omelet and they came out all kinds of fluffy cheese-adorned goodness.

I ordered the Chicken Strips with Fries. I highly recommend the French Toast if you go for breakfast. Everything we ordered was delicious!! Don’t forget to grab a slice of cake or a piece of pie to go. (They have fresh Cakes & Pies) Highly recommend for Breakfast or Lunch! Our waiter Jacob was great!

Went in at lunch and had the Bacon Cheeseburger, the toasted buns and crispy bacon just hit the spot. Our waitress was very efficient with a great sense of humor. I noticed other tables having delicious breakfast plates and plan on coming back to get breakfast!

Came here for the first time with my young daughter. She really wanted a breakfast place for dinner, and we didn’t want to go to a chain. It was cozy. She liked the French toast combo and the chicken fried chicken did not disappoint for me.
