A sense of adventure led us to check out Sidelines Sports Bar and Grill, now occupying the old Rt 78 location. Inside, the space felt brighter, boasting a vibrant yellow color scheme and numerous flat-screen TVs. We were seated without delay, and our server provided friendly service, taking our order efficiently. There was a bit of a wait for our food, but we didn’t mind, as it offered a chance to unwind and converse. Overall, the food was satisfying, even if it didn’t quite reach exceptional status. The chicken fingers were remarkably large, and the fresh-cut fries were a definite hit. Opinions were divided on the Reuben sandwiches and the Buffalo Mac and Cheese, with the latter apparently having been better previously. We’re open to giving Sidelines another try and exploring more of their menu.

Very welcoming, every one very friendly .
A Tuesday evening bar area full. Plenty of open tables in another room.
Bartender, and staff. . Genuinely. Making all feel welcomed.
Age group was over 40 .
I understand weekends get younger as well

I asked for extra crispy wings. I end up with wings that looked barely cooked. My wife wanted a medium cooked burger, meaning a good amount of pink. She received basically shoe leather on a bun. The pricing was high too.

If you’ve ever stopped by Sidelines, you already know it’s a solid spot — but what really makes the place special is Lindsey. She’s the kind of bartender who remembers your drink, your name, and somehow keeps the whole bar laughing and relaxed at the same time.
Lindsey runs the show with total confidence and charm. Drinks are always on point — never weak, never wrong — and she’s lightning fast even when the place is packed. But what really sets her apart is her energy: she’s friendly without being fake, funny without trying too hard, and genuinely cares that everyone’s having a good time.
Whether you’re stopping in after work, catching a game, or just need a solid pour and a good vibe, Lindsey is the reason you’ll come back. Sidelines hit the jackpot with this one.

Come here often, always have a great experience; EXCEPT, today. Heather, who we normally experience, is FANTASTIC. Not sure who I experienced today (10/9 from ~ 5 to 6pm, glasses, ball cap; other tender was super nice) but what a disappointment. Not friendly, made us feel like we were an inconvenience to her day. So sorry for spending our hard earned $$ here and burdening you…perhaps it won’t happen again except for when Heather is working.

I was recommended to try their Loaded Bloody Mary! Not my go to drink of choice but, I gave it a try. Love how you can select everything you want. Watching how they make them is a form of art! Beautifully presented and a meal by itself. Fun, Filling, and Delicious! Go Big! Looking forward to trying other menu items soon.

Always great food. My cousin tried the angry fan and was amazed at its size as well as the homemade onion rings. I had the Cajun shrimp tacos which were very good

We had called ahead to double check if they had food past 11pm after a concert and they said they were on their late night menu. When I, along with two of my other friend, went in we were greeted with a rude bartender who asked us “what we were doing?” We had said we were there for food and she gave us an attitude when saying “obviously the kitchen is closed and the dining room is closed”
She was muttering stuff under her breath as we were leaving talking about us to the other customers. The other customers were joining in and for people who live out of state I think that was the most unwelcoming restaurant/bar environment I’ve ever walked into.

Decided to try a new place. Blue burger was great. Meatballs sub had flavor but too much sauce and my boyfriend couldn’t pick it up the bread got soggy. While the onion rings were crunchy you can taste the oil in them. Atmosphere was definitely a sports bar so if you’re looking to watch a game or two and have some beers this is the place.
