There are plenty of places to get a bite to eat in a drink in town and surprisingly this one is one of the better bar top eateries. I definitely like that it’s on the outskirts of town in the parking lot is the great size. The tables and the bar top are always clean it is wide open bright and inviting. A lot of the other taverns and bars in and around town are dirty and gross, but not this place. The service staff is always friendly and kind and I’m amazed at how good their food is. We didn’t have high expectations but they’re fried gouda and Bavarian pretzel appetizers are phenomenal and their Pizza is surprisingly decent. Last time I went I got their buffalo chicken wrap and it’s on par with the ones I enjoyed down south.

I’ve had every restaurant in Janesville and Beloit area. As a tree trimmer and a long time stay I prefer sidelines for a great friendly drinking and a major plus the best food around town. And within 100 mile radius. PLEASE GIVE IT A SHOT!

Nice restaurant/bar with reasonable prices for food and beverages. Waiter was a little miscombobulated. We also had a larger group of 8 to serve which added another layer of challenges. Seemed to be newer waiter and unsure of all on the menu. Overall, nice place that would recommend.

So happy Sidelines was available for my aunts birthday! Jesse was an absolute delight to work with planning all the details and food for our event! We had turkey, ham, and chicken salad sandwiches, fruit tray, and cheese and sausage platter! Everything tasted so good 🙂 VERY reasonable prices and quality was great 🙂 Thank you so much and I’ll recommend your space to as many people as I can!

I had a rice bowl that was crazy-tasty! The mushrooms in the dish were the tastiest mushrooms I’ve ever had in my life. Service was good, the bartender and waitress were both great. I’ll definitely be going back.

I’ve had Sidelines multiple times for lunch and have never been disappointed. Our company hosted a business after 5 event tonight and they did all the catering. All i can say is WOW!! Super fast set up, great price, and the food was absolutely incredible, along with the staff!! We can’t thank you guys enough for everything!! If I could give 10 stars I definitely would!

we waited over 20 minutes for room temp/cold food, the waitress was rude and didn’t follow through making our experience good. ex: we asked what the entrée consisted of and she failed to give the right information and made us wait 5-10 more minutes asking the chef. not apologizing. and the food didn’t have the same portions and it didn’t taste good. she rushed to get the bill which was odd so i give this a 1 star rating

Great place to visit if you are at Janesville youth sports complex. Plenty of space inside, some outside seating. Food was good. Bloody Mary was very good. Bartenders were nice. Depending on crowd from games, sometimes good takes a bit. Plenty of TVs to watch games.
