Stir clear. The reviews may be old or posted under the previous owner. My food was horrible. We stopped in for steak, after placing my order I was told they didn’t have the steak I ordered. I then decided to order the ribeye. I was told by the bartender that the ribeyes were very, very iffy. When I asked that that meant he said “I wouldn’t order it” so, I was down to the steak tips reluctantly. My 1st bite I could taste a sour taste. As if the meat had soaked in vinegar. After a few more bites, it was clear that the meat was spoiled. Just the few pieces that I did eat, had me down sick for the next 24 hours. Even if my meal would have been somewhat appetizing, the flies made it almost impossible to enjoy the meal. The water was refreshing though.

I was on a road trip from Texas four months ago passing through South Dakota. Stayed at Sturgis a few days. Seen this Sidehack Saloon on YouTube so i had to go check it out. Got a Sturgis Philly Cheesesteak it was really good and awesome i give it two thumbs up. I wish i would’ve got another one for the road and i had a really nice waitress n she was really cute i wish i would have got my pic with her so i could have told people i met a Sturges female. A variety of breakfast options, diy omelette, stack of pancakes and a regular dish of bacon and eggs sunny side up. Hash browns were not crispy, but everything else was very tasty! Service was a little slow, but the food was worth waiting for.

We waited 20 minutes just to get coffee and water—after reminding the waitress twice. When we finally placed our breakfast order, we sat for over an hour only to find out it was never even entered into the system. The waitress walked past our table multiple times, clearly saw us waiting, and said nothing. When we asked another staff member to check on our food, she didn’t bother—had she done so, the mistake could’ve been caught.
This wasn’t just bad service—it was complete disregard. We left hungry, frustrated, and baffled that a restaurant could operate like this.
We ended up heading down the street to the local DQ, where—thankfully—we got our food quickly and were treated like actual customers. The difference was night and day.

Exactly as ordered. Service wonderful! No complaints. Note, kitchen said they usually serve chicken fried as 1 large piece (that’s true) but pictured is 2 smaller one as supplier was out. Highly recommend.

I travel the country for a living, and this was the worse meal of my life. Food tasted old and not fit for eating. I was raised to eat my entire plate, but sadly it was hard to finish. The atmosphere of the place was awesome, but they need to work on their food.

Walked over from knuckle saloon after a terrible service over there it was nice to be greeted by a friendly face. The young lady that waited on us was friendly, quick and attentive. The food arrived at our table within 15 mins. And it was definitely everything I wanted it to be. My only complaints are there were a few pestering flies and the water had an odd aftertaste. Other then that it overall was a way better experience than the one we had at knuckle saloon.
