Cute spot, wonderful place to hang out and get some great food, like oysters (!), or a drink from one of the two bars located there. the upstairs part seems to be reserved for private parties yet more than enough room to sit. Their happy hour looks fun too!

Just wanted to say thanks David. We had a blast at your place. We caught the football 4th quarter, and had great cocktails. The staff member Anna was very friendly and did a A+ job shucking 3 dozen oysters that were perfectly done… clean and left the liquor in them. I was so pleased I tipped her $30 separate from the tip on the check / server. I just wished we lived there so we could return frequently. BIG Thank you for your hospitality. It was a highlight of our very awesome trip to NOLA.

The daily happy hour options, including $7 wine, make it a perfect place to unwind without breaking the bank. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere from the moment you arrive. The outdoor patio is charming and comfortable. They have a great option of local, East and West coast oysters. Highly recommended!

My favorite oyster bar in NOLA. We’ve been here many times before. The oyster descriptions used to be so elaborate, but they are less detailed now. The options of west coast, east coast, or gulf oysters are awesome! We love their shucker’s choices of oysters. They also have a ton of specials nearly every day of the week! The frosé was delicious

Sidecar oysters are so fresh you’ll swear you hear waves crashing in the background—whether raw, chargrilled, or fried, they’re pure perfection. The shrimp tacos are a crunchy, zesty masterpiece, with juicy shrimp, crisp slaw, and just enough kick to keep things interesting. They’re so good, you’ll end up stealing bites from your friend’s plate. Pro tip: don’t share—order two.

Visited NO for the first time and this little spot became a favorite of mine very quickly.
We stopped by to try the charbroiled oysters that we’ve heard so much about, and we were surprised to see they had 1/2 oyster special where we were able to get 6 random and 6 reef candy oysters for $17 a phenomenal deal.
This restaurant also rewards Mastercard holders by rewarding them with a $10 coupon every time you spend $10 or more which is another amazing deal that adds up very quickly.
We were so impressed that we even came back the next day to participate in trivia and we ended up taking 1st place and we won $50 free drink tab from the bar. Anytime I’m in NO I will be coming back!

EAT HERE. You’ll be so happy you did. The atmosphere is fantastic, the service was amazing (Kim took great care of us!), and the food was nothing short of *stellar*. This was one of our favorite meals in New Orleans. The charbroiled oysters, fish tacos, fish dip, and cheese fries did not disappoint. It’s off the beaten path but 100% worth it.
*EDIT: We came back the very next evening (because the first time was so amazing). We didn’t have a reservation this time, so we had to eat in the “Mermaid Lounge” instead of the main patio. Sounded great in theory: we order drinks at the bar, and order our food separately from our phones and it would be brought out to the table. Not quite as great in practice. The bartenders just seemed incredibly annoyed to stop filling the main patio’s drink orders to serve us. It also took us over 40 minutes to get 2 orders of oysters and 2 orders of tacos. We were the only patrons in the lounge area, and although the main patio was pretty full- it is by nature not a huge area.
That being said…food was still tasty. It just was nowhere near as delightful an experience as the night before. If you sit in the mermaid lounge, prepare to feel like an afterthought. Four stars, grudgingly.

Overheard someone ask, “are the oysters good today,” and the bartender replied, “we never have bad oysters.” She wasn’t kidding! Delicious! The seasonal Old Fashioned was one of the best I’ve ever had. Would definitely come here again.
