If you’re looking for a laid-back, well-done cocktail bar that feels intentional and welcoming—not loud, not chaotic—Grant’s Sidecar Bar absolutely nails it.
This is a true neighborhood gem. It’s connected to Grant’s restaurant next door, so depending on the time of day, you can order food from the main kitchen—but the real star here is the bar program.
What stands out:
Fantastic craft cocktails – Thoughtful recipes, balanced flavors, and consistently well-executed
Excellent bartenders – Friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly know their craft
Strong top-shelf liquor selection – Quality spirits across the board
Ice-cold beers on tap – Simple, clean, and done right

The space itself is beautifully designed—great lighting, tasteful décor, and a layout that actually makes it easy to have a conversation. This is not a sports bar, and that’s a huge plus. It’s calm, comfortable, and feels like a place you can actually relax.

We have been here twice so far and loved it each time. This drink is the “Brancolada” and it was divine. The bartender/owner was super nice, very agreeable and pleasant. She was explaining developing the one seasonal recipe and making homemade hibiscus tea for it. I love the extra effort and passion! We ordered the shrimp appetizer, and it was fabulous. I don’t like cocktail sauce but this tasted homemade and it was so good! The shrimp was tender and perfectly battered. My bf got the Whiskey Brimstone seasonal drink and I don’t even enjoy mezcal, but it was a genuinely great drink also. Highly recommend trying this out. Grant’s is amazing, and so is this place.

I loved this place! Atmosphere is great! Staff was really helpful with creating a drink for us. They are drink masters too! Everything we had was top of the line. Best margarita I’ve had in a while! Decor is the cutest. I love the wallpaper they have & the collage of mirrors is so fun. I cannot wait to go back!!

Great spot in Meridian. The drinks selection is extensive, and the service is phenomenal. This bar is connected to Grant’s Neighborhood Grill. So, you can enjoy a great beverage and grab a bite to eat, as well. I enjoyed their old-fashioned and mushroom swiss burger. Also, I tried a few of the cocktails, and they were top-notch.

This place had a peaceful and cool atmosphere when I went. I think they are the same owners as grants, and they are hard to find at first. The gps took us to grants, and this sidecar bar is hard to see. They should get a sign up so people can see it.
The service was very friendly, the atmosphere was perfect, and the drinks were really great!

Had Valentine’s dinner solo and Grants Side Car did not disappoint. The Surf n Turf was probably one of the best experience for my tastebuds. The scallops were moist, soft in a great sauce. I’m used to scallops being hard and dry but these were something else. The steak was nice and rare with a somewhat spicy green sauce that complimented it greatly. And the mash potatoes had my eyes rolling in the back of my head. Everything worked well together. And to top it off, Isaac made a great Old Fashioned to end my night. His is almost as good as Ness’ Old Fashion.
And on a different visit, if you’re looking for an appetizer, the green beans are great as well as the French Onion Soup.

I didn’t have any of their food… Just a couple of coca-colas. It was a cozy environment for the date I went on. Soft, velvety swirly old-school patterns as “wall-paper” for lack of a better word… and plush curtains. No pool table, but that would also take away from the warm ambiance of this cozy little intimate bar.

Beautiful space with wonderful food, drinks and energy. The perfect neighborhood spot to grab a drink with friends, co-workers or even a first date. The ingredients are very fresh and super engaging atmosphere. Will be a frequent stop for us for sure.
