I forgot to get pictures of our delicious meals. We were hungry and ready to eat. Thank goodness we came to this establishment. Every worker was friendly and attentive to our table. Before our server made it over to introduce himself. A female worker stopped by with a fresh basket of chips and salsa. 10/10 definitely recommend! We’ll be back again!

This was my first time coming to Side Street Cantina. I saw online that it had amazing reviews and the place is in a good location close to the beach! They had a beautiful interior, very inviting and great service. Everyone is super friendly which is a plus! But I’ve definitely had better tacos for a better price. The tortilla wasn’t warmed or anything I’m not sure but it was pretty pale, lots of onions which isn’t the worst but heavy amount. The pastor and asada tacos were good but it was missing a kick to make it stand out. We had their tropical margarita and a traditional, very strong(we ended up returning one) but the traditional was good.

Crab and shrimp dip is absolutely amazing . I had the chicken and chorizo tacos and my husband had the tuna tacos. They were both the best tacos we have ever had , and we eat at Mexican restaurants once a week back home. Hands down the best Mexican food we have eaten.

Cool spot! I read that the tacos were really good but I didn’t find the pollo asado to be that great. The meat and tortillas were a bit dry and the meat wasn’t super flavorful. The pina collada was freaking delicious and had a good bit of alcohol.

We parked to meet some friends at the beach but got a whiff of what would be this Cantina across the street. We had to come back! We had taquitos with beef and chicken and steak fries and it was delicious! Good daiquiris! Our waiter was absolutely darling! Great music to accompany as well. If you are gluten free, you will find options like we did today!

This place was close to my hotel so I thought I’d give it a shot. This was the best place I ate at the entire trip to VA Beach! I had the beef chimichangas, cooked to perfection. The strawberry daquiri was amazing. The best part was the kind and welcoming staff, like Alicia at the bar. I wish I had tried this place sooner in my trip because I would have come back every single day. Highly recommend!!

We were there on vacation from Canada and the hotel staff recommended this restaurant and let me tell you we were pleasantly surprised by the food, service and atmosphere and came there again on our last night. Next time we come to Virginia Beach we will definitely be coming back!
