Excellent place to enjoy a delicious pizza in a good environment. Friendly service and good selection of pies. It’s a bit expensive for a 10 Inch but if you are treating yourself or sharing it’s great.

We were at Meanwhile Brewing for a book sale event and the brewery was packed!! I’ll admit my top priority when ordering food was to skip any food truck with a line outside, but I never say no to a good pizza and I was excited to try Side Eye’s Vodka pizza. I placed my order and it was ready within 10 minutes I think, quite fast. The employees were friendly and helpful too.

Overall I was very happy with the pizza. It was super cheesy and the sausage gave just the right punch of spicy flavor, I loved the vodka sauce and really the only thing I could have asked for was a bit more of the sauce. The crust was soft and chewy, but if left by itself I did find it a bit dry so I always folded up the last 3 inches of pizza so I was eating it sideways with toppings and crust. I guess next time I just need to get a dipping sauce, or maybe ask for extra vodka sauce on the side! But it was tasty and I would definitely order this again.

We tried a pepp pizza & garlic sticks, I genuinely had a moment of happiness of those when you need to take a picture to capture the moment of my first bite. I really love garlic and it was very garlicky ✨

I got the Meat Sweats Pizza and the Duck Confit Chicken Wings, half Buffalo and half Lemon Parmesan. I have nothing bad to say about the food. It was so good! I usually don’t eat chicken wings, but the Buffalo ones were so damn delicious. If you haven’t been to the food truck, make it a mission to go. And it’s next to a brewery, so it’s a nice place to stop by for drinks and food. The staff was also really friendly, providing good customer service and getting the food out fast!

Absolutely delicious food. Staff is awesome.

Salami Chips – 5/5
Meat Sweats Pizza – 5/5

The salami chips are fantastic. Super tasty, crispy, and the dip is excellent. The pizza is great. Deliciously flavorful sauce, with a hint of garlic. Toppings are fresh and tasty. Dough is great. Staff is awesome.

Great food truck that is located at Meanwhile Brewing. Pizza was fantastic. The 12” Pepperoni Homie and OG Margarita were delicious. We also had the duck confit chicken wings. We devoured them before I could snap a pic. Slightly off the beaten path, but definitely worth it!

This is rather embarrassing to put into a public review… but within two hours of consumption the pesto pizza I had was very uh… bad for my digestion. When I got it, I noticed that it was extremely oily. Even after placing paper towels on it in an attempt to absorb some, I was still able to fold a slice in half and “wring” out a stream of green oil (which I assume to be olive oil?). Anyone who followed the Starbucks “olive oil” drink fiasco likely knows what happens when someone consumes too much olive oil… I do not want to be graphic here so if you don’t know uh, google it I guess?

Aside from the excess oil, the pizza just wasn’t very good. The crust was great (and is the only reason I am not giving this a 1 star review) but the sauce and toppings didn’t have much flavor.

All in all, it was a regrettable $18 spent.

I frequently complain about pizza in Texas. This place has changed my mind. I have a recorded high standard for pizza expectations and Side Eye has brought me everything I’ve desired. Found this place unexpectedly and I was floored by the quality of pizza, visual aesthetic, and service of the people working (who were swamped when I went) The ingredients on their personal sized bar pies are top notch, the sauces were delicious – the margarita was a delightful spicy surprise, and their cheese was high quality and didn’t pool or drip with oil. Side Eye is changing the narrative of pizza in Austin and WHEREVER you are in or around the ATX, Side Eye is worth the trip. Make sure to these guys a beer when you’re waiting on your food, the team deserves a few for their wonderful creations. Honestly top notch pizza 10/10 recommended, I will definitely be a returning customer.
