Side Biscuits has the best wings in town, and they might even be the best wings anywhere, but they are definitely the best in the state of Michigan. Each style is perfectly sauced and seasoned, and the wings are consistently crispy. They are also super reasonably priced.
I wish they had multiple locations; I drove all the way from Buffalo, New York, to have them again after trying them at a pop-up event. They’re a must-have anytime I’m in Ann Arbor. And that’s not even mentioning the biscuits, which are awesome, too.

Great wings, flavorful fries, and yummy dessert. Would recommend for an all American vibe. There’s not much seating, and you’ll have to sit outside, and in spring-fall it’s lovely. The energy is fun and the employees are easy going.

Wings were incredible !!! Tried this spot randomly and now I’ll be a reoccurring customer. The lemon pepper was perfection and the we tried a few other flavors and consistently impressed with the crispness and sauces. I really liked the size of the wings that were small and packed with flavor. The only thing that we didn’t like was the biscuit – not sure if we had a bad flavor or they were just off that day.

Side Biscuit is a hidden gem in Ann Arbor that serves up some of the best wings in Michigan. They are crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor. What really sets them apart is their incredible lineup of house-made sauces, each one bold and unique. Whether you like it sweet, spicy, tangy, or an umami bomb, there’s a sauce that’ll keep you coming back. It’s carry out only. The vibe is casual, the service is friendly, and the food is consistently top-tier. If you’re a wing lover, Side Biscuit is a must-visit.

We went out of our wheelhouse and tried their biscuit of the week which was a matcha biscuit and a matcha sauce. It was amazing. We tried three different types of wings and all of them were really good. The staff was very friendly and helpful and let us try the sauces before we ordered. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in Ann arbor.

Their spicy garlic is excellent.. I truly hope they add it permanently to the menu because it was hands down our favorite out of all five flavors we tried. All of the other wings were excellent, but it was a toss up on what the second favorite was. I’m normally not a fan of dry rub, but the brogarashi was excellent and I loved the spice & flavor on the Gucci gang. I thought the Penang was on the weaker side but still worth trying. I still need to try the biscuits but the wings were ready very quickly and I’m looking forward to trying out more wings in the future.

Wings are just simply great. No show, no gimmick, just flat out perfectly cooked wings. And I’m soooo picky about texture. And the Buffalo sauce is actually pretty spicy which surprised me. Too many places in Ann Arbor call a sauce spicy and they barely give more than a tingle.

I’ve moved to Michigan about 5 yrs ago from Buffalo, NY. Since then I’ve been searching for some good wings until i finally got to try SideBiscuit. I knew from the minute i walked in i found the right spot. The smell from the place alone brought me back to Buffalo. Jordan is a fellow Buffalonian himself so he knows what hes doing and he exceeded my expectations. The wings were on point and the fact they make their own blue cheese and had the side of celery and carrots just made it feel like home. If anyone is looking for some real wings go ahead and check them out, YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!! I’ll be back for Sunday pizza! GO BILLS

Chef Jordan Balduf is a Buffalo native. More expensive than a chain but well worth it. Think jamaican jerk sauces, szechuan rubs, and the classic Buffalo. He also puts out weekly special flavors for wings/biscuits/sandwiches. Part of @misfitbiscuits, food popups around AA including Lucha Puerco, Basil Babe, Juicy Oistre, and Beautiful Boy Bakery. [Add’l notes if you’re from Buffalo: pizza logs on the menu, occassional Old Pink inspired steak sandwiches, Coztanzo’s rolls for the sandwiches, and Bills gear plastered all over the shop.] Go bills!
