Food was spectacular and well worth the price! The burrito can be split in half, it’s so huge. The spooky drink we ordered was delish. It was a little louder than we expected but there is also outdoor seating if you’re looking to engage in conversation that can’t be heard by all patrons. Construction downtown made it a little hard to find parking but overall I’d return again.

Went to sidebar for a birthday brunch and had a great experience with the food. Brunch menu was small, with great options and solid prices. I ate the burrito which was the best bargain for the size. Great quality meat and felt the toppings made the dish. I’d recommend burrito over tacos
For sides, grits are both sweet and light. Chips with queso is a great shareable item.
Food taste stellar, but seems like there is mild disconnect between staff and guests. A table was moved for our party and its bottom fell off. Bartender took broken piece stating he would replace with coasters. Coasters throughout the restaurant take away the charm and also just lazy. Don’t think fixing the tables would take time but would be worth it for more customer satisfaction.
Overall would come here again!

They make their own tortilla chips and they are so good. Hands down the best fish tacos I’ve ever had! Food was amazing and the portions are HUGE. Both me and my husband took half our plates home (he had the burrito, which is also phenomenal!) and had lunch the next day, too. Service was excellent, and the outdoor seating area was just perfect. We will definitely be back!

I have been to Side Bar before maybe a year ago and I don’t know if things changed or if I changed but I’m glad I gave it a try again. Previously I didn’t think the portion sizes were big enough or tasty enough for the high price but when I visited this time I was 100% satisfied, I even needed a to go box.
I went with my husband after work for what I told him would be apps and cocktails. We had 1 drink each that we loved. I had the Pecan Honey Rum Sour, he had the Paloma. I liked the rum sour.
We had the chorizo empanadas and chicken tinga nachos as appetizers. I LOVED the nachos. Our server Ashlyn was amazing! She was very friendly and welcoming. She knew the menu well and was able to make recommendations based on what we told her we liked. Everything she recommended was fantastic. We were torn when choosing between a few things. The nachos were her recommendation and we loved them. It was also alot bigger than we expected and well worth the price. We also got the Korean Fried Chicken tacos and the Chicken Flautas. I was so full that I only tasted these two but they were really good. The korean tacos were full of flavor! I wasn’t expecting it. They were sweet and spicy and so filled that stuff was falling out when I took my first bite. I liked the chicken flautas but they weren’t as flavorful as the Korean tacos but that was to be expected. It was also a big portion, the two flautas were on top of rice and beans.
Everything was well worth the price because of taste and portion size. The atmosphere was great but if it is a busy time it will fill up quickly due to it’s size. There is also outside seating and the area looks nice and there are heat lamps. If you have the pleasure of having Ashlyn as your server you will have the best experience ever!

Date night, we got loaded queso, and riblets for appetizers. They were both awesome, I’d get the riblets again over the queso if we could only do one.
Entree we had the chicken flautas and brisket tacos. Both were phenomenal.
My date had the ranch water; it was spicy enough to temper the tequila and she loved it.
I’m a big fan and we will be back. Another review summed it up well that it is a gourmet twist on tex-mex.

Small restaurant offering tex/mex with a twist. I had Korean fried chick tacos. They were very busy but were able to seat use in the patio which had heaters. Highly recommend reservations.

From the crew that brought you Dickinson Avenue Public house comes Side Bar! It’s a great spot to hang for drinks or grab some food. They make well cultivated margaritas and other tequila and mezcal offerings with attention to detail. The menu is fun and unique which very cool appetizers and great craft tacos. The roasted cauliflower and lamb croquettes are a must try! I really enjoy their smoked brisket and duck tacos. The ambience is great for a night out with friends or a date night and the bar has great seating as well. The service is awesome – a kind and fun team to top it off! Just like DAP house definitely one of my favourite spots in Greenville.
