My husband and I stopped in on our way back from Boise on a total whim, and it ended up being such a great call. The food was amazing, and our server was kind and welcoming. It’s a cozy little spot that’s perfect for lunch. We both ordered the house burger with dirty fries, and I highly recommend upgrading — they did not disappoint. I was especially impressed that the fries stayed crispy all the way to the last bite (which is honestly hard to pull off). The burger was packed with flavor and cooked perfectly medium-rare. This will definitely be our go-to lunch stop whenever we’re back in the area!
Sorry for the lack of a detailed burger photo — I was way too hungry and dove right in before thinking to take a proper picture. Zero regrets though.

Inviting and relaxed brewpub with friendly, attentive staff. The tomato and red pepper soup was rich and flavorful, and both the chicken sandwich and grilled cheese with tomato were delicious, as were the dirty fries. Loved the warm wooden art on the walls. Bonus tip — they’re open until 9 p.m. (Google Maps still lists 8).

You’ll have to go to La Grand Oregon to get the best kale salad! The crunch in this salad makes you want more! You might even find a beer you like too! Love this little place and what a perfect stop when you are traveling.

Super cute courtyard out back with heritage brick walls and hanging lights and spiral stairs and horse-trough planters bursting with flowers and vines and so on.

Not into IPAs, but liked theirs. They also had a fun smoothie sour and a fruited gose that were fun but not overwhelming.
All the pub hits on the menu. Everything we ordered was about as good as it gets in the pub realm. Seared ahi sandwich exceeded expectations.
Mediocre bike rack out back was hard to find.

The chicken strips were perfect, and swapping a Kale Caesar instead of fries made for a perfect meal. The whole family stole most of my strips, and we’re the popular dish by far at the table.
They were crazy busy (but still did a good job getting people seated) and this place is obviously a locals favorite. My family found this on our way through to Idaho, and will become a stopping point for future trips.

Probably one of the best burgers I’ve ever had and the dirty fries were outstanding! Server was a really nice guy! I loved the fire department museum. The atmosphere was good! Definitely going back next time I visit and would definitely recommend to anyone.

Great find in a small town! True foodie menu with all the extra thought and useful garnishes! Fries seem homemade from scratch, but if they aren’t, they still taste like they are, SO good. Beers and cider are well described and ever flowing with this attentive staff, winning combinations abound!

Just a side road adventure from Moscow to Boise by way of Washington and Oregon. Got hungry mid afternoon as we approached La Grande, looking for brews and chews. Cool location in an old fire station, be sure to check out the old trucks. Got a flight and a damn fine sandwich. Beers were all good but the food was excellent. Three different dishes, all excellent. Try the dirty fries and the truffle fries. And the huckleberry cheesecake was as good as any cheesecake I’ve had across the US.
The Packed Bowl sour and the Experience. IPA were my favorites. Also happened to be happy hour as well.
Unfortunately two of won’t be back in the Pacific Northwest soon otherwise I’d do the drive again for the food, brews, and views. And we did take a mixed 4 pack to go.

1 hour 05 min wait after food order was taken. all we ordered was the chicken strips and fries. Which was listed as large portion. These were tiny and not a large portion. I wish we had a better experience.
