I chose this place over Olive Garden. The food was good. We ordered pasta and pizza for dinner. The pasta was fresh and creamy, and we loved the dough on the pizza. The espresso martini was good, but it took some time to make, and I found the bread basket disappointing. We were served hard, dried-out bread that was tough to bite into. I often wonder why restaurants fail to impress customers with simple bread baskets. This is the cheapest way for the restaurant to make a good first impression on the patron. Sadly, this is not the only restaurant I have been to that served less than mediocre bread baskets. We will give them another try in the near future.

Incredible. This place doesn’t look like much from the outside but, wow, what a fantastic meal. Fresh made everything that is so good you would swear momma was in their kitchen. I pride myself on eating everything on my plate, and I did, but I had to waddle back to my car. I had their gnocchi with vodka sauce and it was beautiful. I think my favorite thing was the sauces, we were all sharing what we ordered and the sauces were incredible.

Well unfortunately I was disappointed. I had visited the Sicilian Guys a couple of time prior and I was very happy with my selections on both events. They used to serve a Zuppa di Pesce that I considered as the best in Las Vegas. Aside from the usual clams, mussels, shrimp and calamari, it also had a nice size tentacle of grilled octopus and a lobster tail. This last time I was informed by the server that the octopus was no longer served. Since I went on purpose and was really looking forward to it I was a bit disappointed and I thought about it for a while before I ordered it but since I went on purpose for an amazing Zuppa di Pesce I got myself to sacrifice the octopus and indulge in the rest. However not only was the octopus token away from the dish so was the lobster tail. When I questioned it I was told that the lobster was in there but shredded. Now I looked it over and over while I was eating it and there really was not any sign of lobster and if there was it was invisible. But that is not all…the mussels were tiny and borderline meatless, the clams just the same and finally as an addition, they served bucatini with it at the bottom of the bowl. In other words it was not a zuppa di pesce anymore but a bucatini di mare. Not what I was expecting at all. Now the flavor was excellent but not what I ordered. My disappointment stems from the fact they they served an excellent dish, unique and exquisite. Now it’s a bucatini di mare like everyone else’s. That to bad. I go to places that distinguish themselves and I found more of the same.

After trying this restaurant a while back for some take out, and being disappointed in the portion size of the meals we received, I posted a negative review. The owner responded and offered a gift card to make up for the experience, and to give us a chance to try again. I’m glad we decided to to give Sicilian Guys another try last night. The Cesar salad was very good, along with the bolognese and arancini balls appetizer. I tried my wife’s pasta a la vodka, which was also excellent. It was a very good meal, with good service, in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. We will definitely be back soon!

I want to give 5 stars, but I feel that the alcamasi was falsely advertised. They had a video on their fb page featuring this delicious looking lobster and shrimp pasta dish. eBay was so appetizing was the whole lobster on top of the pasta. Sadly, that was not was served. Mostly pasta, I counted 5 shrimp and tiny sliced lobster:…looked like imitation crab, honestly. I was not impressed. Server was so nice and polite and apologized. Not her fault, but I just feel like it wasn’t worth it. Will we be back? Idk. Maybe for the pizza.

To begin with, the place is very welcoming. Our waitress, Gina, was spectacular. She explained everything in detail, and the service was magnificent. When you visit the restaurant, don’t hesitate to ask for her service. Chef Ignacio visited our table and was friendly. In short, the place was clean, the service was excellent, and the food was 200/100.

Blessings, 100% recommended

This was the first Italian restaurant I came to on my way back to lodging. I am SO happy with my experience here. Best meatballs ever. The Vega pizza with spinach, ricotta, parmesan, mozzarella, garlic, garlic oil and added bacon was SO delicious. I asked for extra garlic oil and that made it even better.

Staff were super attentive and friendly. My Diet Coke was never empty, which I really appreciated.

I absolutely loved this lovely restaurant. The live music and clean, well-decorated interior was fabulous. Absolutely 10/10 and highly recommend.

We’ve been eagerly anticipating the opening of this restaurant, and today we finally got our chance to experience it. The place was packed, and the aroma as we walked in was utterly mouthwatering. We decided to sample two main dishes, an appetizer, and a dessert. Every bite was exceptional—the food was truly phenomenal. The service was also top-notch, even with the bustling atmosphere.

If you’re thinking of trying this place, now is the perfect time as they’ve just opened and are welcoming new customers. Trust me, it’s worth it!

I was excited when I passed this area one evening and noticed that the previous business had closed and this restaurant was in the works. Between not having an authentic Italian restaurant in Skye Canyon (or within close proximity of Skye Canyon), and having had just a subpar restaurant/bar that wasn’t accommodating to people under 21 years of age, I was glad to see Sicilian Guys Trattoria come to fruition. Since this restaurant opened its doors, I’ve been wanting to try it out; however, there are prerequisites involved before I try a restaurant for the first time. Needless to say, all “boxes were checked” and my family and I visited for the first time on 17 Dec 2024.

The moment we walked in, we were met with a warm greeting by the evening hostess and the sound of live music. We didn’t have reservations so we had to wait for an open table – the wait didn’t last longer than 13 minutes before they called us and escorted us to our table (booth seating). I was a little concerned at first with respect to the service because it took a while (longer than average wait times) for anyone to bring us water and/or ask what we wanted to drink. Also, the bread service took a while as well which didn’t ruin the evening, but just something I’m not used, especially having visited many Italian restaurants in my life. I’m not sure if there was a mix-up in communications or if they were just heavily understaffed, but after those initial items finally arrived, things became more smooth the rest of the evening. Our primary server, Nicole, did an amazing job the rest of the evening; she was extremely friendly and attentive.

We ordered the Lazzara Pizza, Zuppa di Pesce (Cioppino), Pollo Vesuvio, and Pollo Parmesana. Everything in general was good; however, there were a few things about those dishes that weren’t as spectacular as I had hoped for. The Lazzara was interesting because if you were to ask me to build my own pizza, I sure as heck wouldn’t pick the toppings that this specialty pizza had…but I wanted to try it and it tasted magnificent. I did wish, however, that there were more prosciutto cotto on the pizza since I didn’t see much of it. If that’s the standard amount given, I’ll probably order extra the next time because yes, I understand that prosciutto isn’t cheap and they have to make money somehow. Also, the Cioppino was extraordinary; the flavors hit the mark and the seafood was cooked to perfection. I did wish that this entrée came with pasta versus being served with four pieces of (garlic) toast. And finally, both pollo entrées were good but the “Parmesana” wasn’t as tender as the “Vesuvio.” There were definitely items on the menu I wanted to try as well but I could only stomach so much in one sitting.

The prices were reasonable; I especially respect this business for their continued support to the active men and women of the Armed Forces, including its Veterans – thank you for that! The restaurant’s décor/furniture was nice (granted I was used to some of it because of the previous business at this location). The booth seating was one of the most comfortable booths I have ever sat at. Overall, I liked this restaurant as depicted in my 4-star rating. Chances are, my family and/or I will return to try other items on the menu since the overall experience was good and because it’s within walking distance from our residence. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.

A very disappointing experience. We waited a full hour for a pizza and a meatball hero. The supposedly thin crust pizza wasn’t. The crust was very doughy. The waitress got our order wrong and offered to make us another but we didn’t have that kind of time. The pizza was nothing special.

The meatball hero was served on a very skinny, very soggy piece of bread. It was impossible to hold. It lacked any real flavor.

The best part of the meal was the bread they gave us while we waited. The oil and balsamic was pretty good.

My wife got terrible indigestion afterwards.
