Great food – lots of garlic and we asked for extra. Super friendly and answered questions about the sauces. Hot and sour soup was WITHOUT pork. Atmosphere isn’t bad but it’s a Chinese restaurant. The food is excellent, but the decor won’t win an award.. If you are into ambience, this isn’t the place.. You go here for great food.

We had a wonderful treat this afternoon for lunch. We ordered there pepper chicken, which was nice and crispy and spicy, with a few other dishes. I was pleasantly surprised with food and service.

Overall Rating – 8/10
Food – 8/10
The food is all very good, nothing life changing, but very solid and good. I can’t think of anything bad to say about the food. I have been coming here for a long time and there are a few things specific I would come for, the Dan Dan Noodles and the Pepper Chicken or Tofu. The sesame chicken is also quite good as the pieces are smaller so you don’t have to deal with these giant pieces, I personally love the smaller pieces.
‍ ‍➡️Accessibility 8/10
It is quite accessible, the restaurant is all ground level, there is a curb to get up to the restaurant but I think there is a ramp. The parking is also right in front. There is no loud music so it is quite calm, there is some yelling from the kitchen but that is all quite normal lol.
‍ Service 9/10
The service is fantastic, the food comes out instantly. The staff is very kind and attentive.
️Ambiance 7/10
As mentioned above there is no music so it is a little quiet, it may be awkward for some but personally it is fine.
Parking 8/10
There is parking right in front, it is a little tight, but right it free and right in front so it is worth it.
Price 8/10
Very fairly priced!

They just finished their remodel and the place looks great! I was so happy to eat there again! It’s a nice alternative to the primarily Cantonese cuisine in the CID. Xinjiang Lamb and Buddha’s hand squash were fantastic! “Big Sister Fu” is especially kind and welcoming. Happy to continue giving them business and showing them that their remodel was totally worth it!

We ordered the mapo tofu, garlic broccoli, sesame chicken, garlic eggplant and Mongolian beef. Everything was well flavored and delicious. If you are averse to spicy food then i would recommend to ask them to lower the spiciness as this is of course a Sichuan restaurant

I was craving some Chinese food & came across this place & I’m glad that I did! The first time I visited I just ordered the pepper chicken, which is probably one of the best versions I’ve ever tasted. The crispiness to it was on point & it was cooked very well. I believe it’s their signature dish & what they’re known for? The second time I stopped by I got the pepper chicken again, along with the mongolian beef & combination fried rice (with no pork). Everything was delicious! Also, the ladies there are always extremely nice & sweet! Great customer service.

This feels like a hidden gem? The food and service were good. We had complimentary hot tea, hard to enjoy on a warm day but welcomed.

I ordered the garlic eggplant, water boiled fish, and one of the lamb dish that had onions. Everything came out so delicious and as I expected from previous sichuanese restaurant experiences.

The food is served family style on a large plate with one serving spoon. It can be difficult to eat the food with chopsticks as it gets oily real quick but they provide a spoon upon request.

I would love to come back as often as possible if I were closer. It’s also pretty affordable for the amount of food received.

A trip to Seattle is not complete without a dinner at Sichuanese. The interior is new but the dishes are the same ones you always come back for. I took a group from work and everyone loved it. We tried some tasty dishes I had never tried before, like mapo tofu and veggie lo mein. I also made sure to get the classics like Mongolian beef, dried green beans, and pork dumplings. This place never disappoints!
