I will definitely be back to try their other dishes. Sichuan Kitchen serves the most authentic Chinese food that I’ve had in a long time.

The food was absolutely delicious, as always! The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We ordered the Pork Fried Rice, Wonton Soup, and Kung Pao Chicken — everything was amazing. The pork fried rice was perfectly seasoned with delicate, well-balanced flavors, and both the wonton soup and kung pao chicken were outstanding. This is our favorite authentic Chinese restaurant in Jax. If you enjoy real Sichuan cuisine, definitely give this place a try!

Wow! Living in China for 8 years, it can be hard to find even decent Chinese food in Florida. When we lived in Jensen Beach, we used to drive to Orlando twice a month to eat at Chuan Lu Garden until they closed. When we moved her to Jax, we tried all the places people recommended and none of it was great. Sichuan Kitchen is honestly the best Chinese food in Florida. The flavors are right on point and authentic, the dishes and selection go from sweet southern dishes to northeast food to Sichuan food to all kinds of dumplings, noodles and steamed buns. We now come here a few times a month and bring all of our friends and family. All of our Chinese friends agree and all of our American family loves it. There’s something for every palette. Fast service, fair prices, great take-out and dine-in, really nothing to critique. Come here! Come early since they’re always packed. 包子,饺子,担担面,麻婆豆腐,扬州炒饭,锅包肉,干锅花菜,地三鲜,干煸四季豆,毛血旺

This meal was truly unforgettable and filled with comfort and care in every bite. The Guo Bao Rou was perfectly done—crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, with a sweet-and-sour sauce that was balanced and addictive without being overpowering. It tasted freshly made and full of skill.

The Hand-Shredded Cabbage was simple yet outstanding. It was light, fragrant, and cooked just right, keeping its crunch while absorbing the savory flavors. Sometimes the simplest dishes show the most confidence, and this one absolutely did.

The Spicy & Sour Cucumber was refreshing and bold at the same time. The garlic, chili oil, and vinegar worked beautifully together, cutting through the richness of the other dishes and making every bite exciting and satisfying.

The highlight for me was the Sichuan Boiled Fish. The fish was incredibly tender, swimming in a rich, fragrant broth filled with chili oil and spices. It was spicy but not harsh—warming, comforting, and deeply flavorful. You can tell real care and authenticity went into this dish.

Overall, this meal felt honest, generous, and made with heart. Every dish complemented the others, and it reminded me why good food is not just about taste, but about warmth, effort, and emotion. I would absolutely come back and recommend this place to anyone who loves authentic Chinese cuisine.

Well, we tried. Stopped by this afternoon at about 4:30pm. We ordered chicken fried rice, shrimp fried noodles and vegetable spring rolls. The spring rolls arrived and from the first bite I knew that our dinner was not going to be good. The spring roll wrappers were awesome and crunchy, the cooking time was perfect but the inside was filled with a gross, watery overcooked mess of nasty vegetables. The shrimp fried noodles were decent but the shrimp in it was tasteless. The chicken fried rice was another story. Oily, tasteless and somehow horribly chewy. The server kept walking by and never once inquired about why two of our three dishes weren’t being touched. I stopped another server and explained our experience and how bad the food was, but she seemed fixated on the spring rolls, didn’t mention any sort of solution and simply walked away! She returned a couple of minutes later with the bill with nothing removed from it. I walked over to the register and explained my situation, but the owner lady just argued with my server explaining that the spring rolls were previously frozen and that’s just how they are. She refused to remove the nearly untouched fried rice from the bill but did remove the spring rolls. Absolutely the worst experience I have had at a locally owned restaurant in years. Stay away from this place like the plague. Do better or you won’t be in business for much longer!

If you’re craving authentic Chinese food, this is the place! Their menu has lots of options, so you can try a variety of dishes. Soup Dumplings are fantastic—thin wrapper filled with plenty of hot soup! I miss Seasons Dumplings, but this spot didn’t disappoint me. They use loose tea, which is a big plus for me.

Every dish I have tried on this restaurant is amazing! My favorite Sichuan restaurant. The cucumber salad is to die for. The chionquing noodle and chionquing chicken is also excellent .

I am fortunate that Sichuan Kitchen is so far away from where I live because otherwise, I would be in danger of bankrupting myself trying to eat there every day.

Ingredients are fresh and good quality. The menu has a wonderful variety of dishes you will struggle to find elsewhere.

Definitely going to do my best to try everything there eventually.

We stopped by for lunch on our road trip. And the food is surprisingly good! We’ll definitely come back again and try more dishes!

Shredded Potatoes (V) – 醋溜土豆丝 was delicious, wish they had more varieties such as Salted Egg Yolk with shredded potatoes

Twice Cooked Pork回锅肉 – was pretty good, recommended!

Spicy Fried Tofu Cubes (V) 香辣豆腐 – fried Battered Tofu Cubes with chili peppers. I personally didn’t enjoy the dish that much because I don’t like fried Tofu in general. The Tofu cubes were crispy and the dish could be a good snack.

We were in Jacksonville today and decided to stop at Sichuan Kitchen for lunch. I have wanted to check this place out since they opened but I rarely make it into Jacksonville.

The restaurant itself sits in a small plaza that houses another Chinese restaurant I’ve been wanting to try, (Peony’s), an Asian market and a few other smaller businesses. There’s nothing fancy here but the place is extremely clean and the amazing smells hit us as soon as we walked through the door! Our server was extremely kind but we did have a little difficulty due to the language barrier. When I had questions she would use her phone to help translate and show me pictures of each dish.

We ordered Egg Drop Soup, Hot and Sour Soup, Vegetable Chicken and Chongqing Spicy Chicken. We thought the soups would come out first but that wasn’t the case. Everything is made fresh and comes out as it’s made. My partners soup and entre came out first and my dishes came out around five minutes later. That wasn’t an issue at all as the quality is outstanding.

The soups were definitely unique and different from what we’re used to. The Egg Drop Soup had vegetables in it which gave it way more flavor than what you normally get. The Hot and Sour Soup didn’t come with mushrooms or pork like I’m used to but it was delicious and spicy!

The real stars were the main dishes. I thought the Vegetable Chicken would be bland but that wasn’t the case at all. The vegetables were cooked extremely well and the sauce was extremely flavorful. My favorite was the Chongqing Spicy Chicken. I love spicy food and this definitely hit the spot! The chicken was chewy and perfectly crisp. The chilies and Sichuan peppercorns make this dish extreme spicy and mouth numbing at the same time. It was fantastic!

I will definitely be back to try their other dishes. Sichuan Kitchen serves the most authentic Chinese food that I’ve had in a long time.

I lived in China for many years, and today I was seriously craving authentic Chinese food. After doing a bit of Googling, I decided to try this restaurant—and WOW, I was not disappointed!

The food is incredible—real Sichuan flavors that instantly brought me back. I ordered the 鱼香肉丝and it was absolutely delicious. The balance of spicy and slightly sweet flavors was spot on, just the way it should be. Even the rice had that distinct taste you only find in China—if you’ve tried Chinese rice before, you’ll know exactly what I mean.

The staff was super friendly (I chatted with them in Chinese), and the whole experience felt like a little trip back to Chengdu. I will definitely be coming back.

Highly recommend! 菜做得很地道,吃得我太感动了!一定会再来的!
