I’ve been dining at Sichuan Gourmet in Billerica for over 20 years, and it truly feels like a second home. The owner and manager have watched our kids grow up, and we’ve watched this restaurant stay wonderfully consistent over the years.
What keeps us coming back is simple: the food is always reliable, authentic, and full of true Sichuan flavor. If you enjoy hot, spicy, tongue-numbing, classic Sichuan dishes, this is absolutely the place to go. The prices are very reasonable, and the portions are generous, making it one of the best everyday dining options in the area.
The environment is modest and comfortable — nothing fancy, but exactly the kind of place you want when you don’t feel like cooking and just want a good, satisfying meal.
After two decades of visits, I can honestly say Sichuan Gourmet continues to deliver great food, great value, and great memories. Highly recommended for anyone who loves real Sichuan cuisine! ️

Ordered the Kung Bao Chicken – was some of the least flavorful chicken I’ve ordered from an Asian Restaurant before. Had to put it in the air fryer with some vinegar and then drizzled with honey and teriyaki sauce to make it flavorful. Also I never received side of Rice. Overall, below average experience for me which is why Im giving it a 2.

my asian family comes here for the best Chinese food in the greater Boston area. my favs are the scallion pancake, string bean and eggplant stir fry, and the pork meatball soup. The other sichuan gourmets don’t taste as good as this branch. So yum 12/10

i’ve been going here for 20 years. i don’t usually write reviews, i’m currently thousands of miles away in korea, where there is authentic sichuan restaurants, but nothing compares. this location, this restaurant cooks like it’s their last day alive… every time. it’s absolutely delicious, nostalgic and incredible. i used to eat meat but im pescatarian now and was once vegan and vegetarian. the best dishes in the world are here, no matter what you eat .

Fantastic find in Billerica… Extensive and authentic Sichuan options to choose from. Have a variety of spiciness as well which was perfect to find an option for my son, while I could divulge in some some very spicy authentic options for take out. The Tangerine Beef and Teriyaki Beef Tandoori skewers were tender and very flavorful. The Sichuan fried wings were very good with some kick. The traditional Beef Tendon Chilli appetizer and BLOOD PUDDING, BEEF TRIPE AND PIG ( 毛 血 旺 ) dish was very unique, tender, spicy and very tasty! I will for sure make sure to stop by and do pick up if in area again!!!

Best Chinese food North of Boston. I have been eating there for many many years. I’ve been to China and I’ve been to Hong Kong. This restaurant has been consistently very very good.
A choice of food both dinner and lunch it’s very appetizing. I have never seen anybody complain and I’ve never complained.
It’s in a strip mall but visible off the road. It is very accessible. The dining area is very comfortable. The service is very nice. The manager is very kind. Parking is free.
While many things have changed in my life, my experience in this restaurant has always been consistently good.
As before, I recommend this restaurant to others and I’m sure the diners Will not be disappointed. It gets crowded early so make your plans accordingly.

First time here, and it was wonderful. The servers were very helpful. The food was delicious and extremely flavorful. The portions are most certainly worth the price. I highly recommend it if you love Chinese food and are in the area! I will be making another trip here soon

When we want authentic Chinese food, we go to this spot. Be mindful of that peculiarity because they charge for regular white rice even while dining in. The perfect amount of heat, complemented by fresh ingredients and delicious flavors. Even though we routinely shake our heads at the idea of charging for rice, we keep coming back. Of course, if the meal is excellent, folks will be more receptive to trying something new and different. We intend to return frequently.

I knew when I saw that old red sign that this was going to be the best Chinese food that I had had in a very long time. I was not disappointed in any way the service, the atmosphere, and the food was absolutely amazing! Thank you, and, well worth the drive from North Andover.
