Almost missed the restaurant, but we are glad we spotted it.

Food: taste and portion are definitely better than the price.

Service: The server is attentive.

Atmosphere: Inside is spacious, clean, and quiet.

We will be back again

We went to Sichuan City yesterday for a family lunch and ordered a bunch of food — everything was delicious until we got our main fish dish. They completely hid the fish body under a mountain of vegetables, and honestly, you won’t find much meat at all . Save your money on this one unless you enjoy playing hide-and-seek with your food!

I’ve visited this place many times, it’s been good until this last visit. The shrimp this time were not fresh: mushy flesh and slight foul odor.

The fried rice felt like they rushed it. “No heart,” is how my partner put it. They used over cooked fresh rice and mashed it to hell, so it was crumbly; used Spam as the meat, and had barely any Dragon’s breath.

The vermicelli was over-cooked, had the texture of soft gelatin. The fried chicken was the best part: tangy and peppery.

We did go during their lunch (around 2pm PST) So I feel like they rushed the order so the chef could eat. Either way, no excuse to the poor quality shrimp…

We came to celebrate a birthday and they were very accommodating! They let us bring a cake and offered plates and utensils. The food was delicious and the service was very friendly!

Quality and flavor is off the charts. The dumplings are amazing with an excellent spice level. The Sichuan Crispy Fish is the first dish in a long time that I was surprised by the flavor and keep going back for.

Discovered this place recently and turned out to be good one. Great food and pretty generous portions. Will come back as I want to try other food on the menu.

Authentic Sichuan Chinese food. Service was fast and attentive. There are lots of menu options, all of which are pretty expensive. The flavor is wonderful. The owners seemed anxious for us to eat and closed right when we left. But, So delicious!

My friend recommended this place and to our surprise, it was very good. Service was great, very friendly and fast.

If you have a large party, try the house special wood bucket fish soup. We also ordered the dry cooked string beans, eggplant tofu, the traditional sweet and sour spare ribs. Another good one is the toothpicks lamb plus the black pepper beef.

The food is overall ok, but not meet our expectations considering the taste and price. The cabbage is a bit oily. The pork stomach with pepper taste slightly sweet, not spicy enough. There is not too much fish fillet inside the soup considering it is $55 dish.

The people who own this restaurant are so nice and very efficient. The food is excellent and good sized portions for a reasonable price. It comes out steaming hot. It is one of my favorite Chinese restaurants and I’m willing to drive a pretty good distance to eat there.
