The food and service are top notch. Got an amazing lunch plate of kung pao chicken. The fried rice is perfectly smoky, light and flavorful. Chicken cooked nicely with plentiful portions. The egg drop soup was legit – big pieces of egg and a lot of flavor. Had to deduct a few stars because even though I was sitting comfortably inside the restaurant, when the door opens it lets in a cold burst of air. Not good in the winter, but at least the food and service warmed me up. Definitely recommend though.

Sichuan Chili is the real deal for authentic Chinese cuisine – bold flavors, generous portions, and that true Sichuan heat that keeps you coming back! We went for takeout and it was flawless: the General’s Chicken was crispy perfection with just the right kick, the fried rice packed with veggies and shrimp, and the veggie stir-fry was fresh and snappy. Everything arrived piping hot and smelling amazing.

Even better? The staff is straight from the motherland – most don’t speak much English, which just screams authenticity (we used a mix of pointing, smiles, and Google Translate, and it worked like a charm). No watered-down Americanized stuff here; it’s genuine, fiery Sichuan goodness.

If you’re craving legit Chinese takeout in Cincinnati, skip the chains and head to Sichuan Chili. Pro tip: specify your spice level – level 2 had us sweating in the best way! ️

Great menu especially from the authentic Chinese menu. I love the eggplant, and green bean and mapo tofu dishes most. FYI, there a lot of oil so not the cleanest for diets. But the flavors are amazing if you want a splurge and love spicy!

We visit this restaurant from time to time. Sichuan cuisine is one of the eight main regional cuisines of China and is highly regarded for its complex and bold flavors. The cuisine has a history of more than 2,000 years and has evolved over time with influences from neighboring regions and countries.

The restaurant is clean and well-maintained, and the staff is always welcoming and attentive. Food is fine!

Check out pics what we ordered during our most recent visit!

Overall, if you’re looking for a Chinese restaurant, I would recommend checking out this place.

Best Sichuan Chinese I’ve had in Cincinnati by MILES. The depth of flavor goes way beyond the typical American Chinese takeout in town and the perfect amount of heat in spicy dishes.

They also have a lot of killer vegan options clearly marked on the menu. I got the garlic eggplant and tofu with mustard greens, and both were so good I came back and got them again a week later!

First time visiting Ohio from Austin, and I was impressed with the Chinese food at Sichuan Chili. I ordered the Dual pepper boiled fish, which was tender with just the right level of spice, and the Mapo tofu had the deep Sichuan taste I’ve been craving. It’s better than anything I’ve found back home and a must visit for anyone looking for authentic Sichuan cuisine.

They also have great lunch deals, and the crab rangoons are delicious.

Great place to stop by and enjoy some of the authentic Chinese dishes, a large variety of options. The food I have enjoyed was chicken lo mein and it was full of flavor and so I have enjoyed the taste. Recommended if you like authentic Chinese and lots of options to choose from.

The restaurant is small, but clean. The bathroom was clean, which I always appreciate.

The waiter was okay, but not super friendly. We also weren’t even offered chopsticks, they brought us forks. I had to ask for chopsticks, other patrons were given them and didn’t receive a fork. He also steered my daughter away from ordering the mini hot pot because he said it would be too spicy. She ordered chicken with garlic sauce from the Chinese menu. It was tasty and had a slight amount of spice. She ended up disappointed that she didn’t get the hotpot, even though she did like her chicken dish.

Her boyfriend ordered pepper chicken. I didn’t try this one, but he really enjoyed it. I wasn’t in the mood for jalapeño flavor, and it was covered in jalapeños.

For myself I ordered sliced ear, bo-bo beef, and dry chili chicken.

I was also warned that the bo-bo chicken would be very spicy. I sperically told him I love spicy food and I know I can handle it. I even mentioned that I didn’t find the food in India spicy at all.

The sliced ear was very tasty. My daughter liked the flavor, but not the texture. The outer portion has a texture similar to tendon, which was fine with her, but the rest was more like cartilage. I loved both textures personally.

The dry chili chicken was perfectly cooked, although I could have handled some extra chilis in it. It was crispy and tender though.

The bo-bo beef? Honestly, I did not find it overly spicy. It was spicy, but not what o would consider a 3/5. I didn’t even feel a need for any type of drink during the meal. When the waiter asked me how was the spice. I had to tell him that I expected more. The dish though was delicious. The beef was the most tender beef o have ever tried. It has zucchini in it, which I love. Very good.

The question is, do I just have that high of a spice tolerance, or did they give me “white girl” spicy? I seriously think it must have been less spicy than normal. I didn’t even break a sweat and barely had a runny nose.

Overall, it was very good. The portions were a good size.

I went here specifically because if I could eat here I would be the Queen of Spicy in the Dayton area. I still don’t know if I earned that crown.

The spice level and the waiter not really believing me almost got them a 3, if I could do 3.5 I would. I know there are people that order it spicy and then they want to have it remade, so I’m not totally upset about the attitude. I’m just disappointed that I was promised spicy and it wasn’t even on the top 5 spiciest things I’ve tried.

A delicious, authentic Sichuan Asian food restaurant. They have a lunch menu and an authentic Chinese food menu. I recommend choosing off of the Chinese menu and trying different dishes. You can’t go wrong because everything tastes so good.
