2 of 3 items were correct at least. Ordered my absolute favorite dish (shrimp with garlic sauce) and it was awful. Not even the correct color, should have been a brown sauce and this was clearly a red sauce of some sort. I tried it though in hopes I could eat it still. But no. I called the establishment and was the garlic sauce was made slightly different/incorrect, but that it should taste similar? What? Why was I not told this when I ordered? Incorrectly? Why was it not remade? I will attach pictures.

Amazing authentic Chinese cuisine in North Austin. The waiters are so welcoming and I guess one of them is the owner who work so hard. We get good sized portions. A little on the spicier end but not the typical flavor you get from an American Chinese restaurant. The flavors are so authentic, never tasted before. The white fish in chilli oil and the lamb on a hot plate are the best.

Freshly made food with perfect flavor. The crab Rangoon appetizer was yummy! It would have been nice if it came out before the main dish. Either way, we enjoyed dinner. Their soft drink machine needs to be tweaked. Next time, I’ll just get water. And there will be many next times.

Never Eating Here Again! After spending $45 on 2 dinner entrees, and an appetizer…..we never even got the $8 appetizer. The portion sizes are tiny for a $15 average plate cost. The braised beef #1 was disgusting and the meat was way too tender if not slimy with nothing but fatty slices. The quality of meat they use is sick looking in the pics I attached. What kind of meat is that?? I specifically asked for white meat chicken with my general t’s and was fine with paying more for it, however they just threw in random friend chicken parts. Our rice came in classic tiny chinese to go box but it was barely half full. Worst chinese ever. Probably won’t be doing any chinese for a while. I rarely put reviews on here, but this was bad!!!!!!!

Ordered online today. Orange chicken, fried potstickers, and a spring roll… the food wasn’t that great and the portion sizes are smaller than most other Chinese restaurants. Oh! And not to mention the bug fried into my food!

All reviews I see we’re made over a year ago. I come here usually about 4 times a month or so and it’s nothing like the reviews say. I understand there’s new management, so why not some new reviews 🙂
Anyways, the place is clean; as sanitary for a family restaurant usually is.
I have not tried everything. Their California, Spicy Tuna, & basically every roll I’ve tried there are good.
The thing I like best is their deep fried ice cream. I also love how the waitresses there are nice, English speaking or not, they’re always nice to me. The cook & waitress is helpful in letting me make changes to a sushi roll that is served raw but they let me have it cooked. I usually ask them to microwave the meat a bit so it’s not raw. It still tastes good, many sushi places will not do that with out burning the avocado.

I changed my original 5 star rating to one star. They removed all authentic Chinese food from their menu. Then they reduced the menu to one page. Food quality has gone down hill. My husband and I used to go here every week. The place was always packed. In the past year the original owners changed. After that, the place became less and less busy. The last time we ate there, on a busy Friday night, we were the only people there. It is a real shame.

My wife is from China (Shangdong area), and we don’t eat a lot of Chinese food in the US, but she likes this place. Simple, high quality, with plenty of authentic Chinese recipes on the menu.
The owner is really nice, and the food is prepared quickly.
We like the fish soup, our little daughter likes the pumpkin cakes.
