Wow, all 5 stars, what an amazing place! Very fresh ingredients, great selection, awesome starters , the curry and duck main dish were great. The manager and all the waiters offered great service, better than most places even. Highly recommended!

Excellent spot for Thai food, the decor on the inside is amazing like a 1920s bar and restaurant. Very unexpected when you walk into the place.
The ribs to start were meaty and tasty. The chicken Pad Thai for main course was full of chicken which is sorely lacking in most places in Dublin these days
I ordered a Mango Unchained cocktail and you could taste the alcohol in it.
Plenty of waiting staff and very polite and attentive
Highly recommended and I’ll be back again very soon.

Had the most amazing night in the Rathmines location last night for a special family occasion.
The food was of excellent quality. Starters, mains , and sides are all packed full of flavour. And their cocktails, were honestly some ot the best quality I’ve had .
The atmosphere was one of the best I’ve had for a sit-down meal recently. Full House, lots of buzz , and a brilliant bit of live music up the front that didn’t interrupt the evening . The lad singing was great.
The service, equally , was 10/10. Everything was brought in a timely manner , we were never left without a drink, and the servers were chatty and polite despite how busy it was.
Overall, it’s a great spot that I’m already looking forward to coming back to. It is quite pricey, compared to some other Asian diners in Dublin. However, I feel the quality of food and drink matches. They also do an early bird menu I’d be interested to try

Very handsome restaurant, much bigger than you’d expect, so good one for birthdays etc. The staff were all very charming and we had a good laugh with them. The food was a bit of a mixed bag, none of the four of us loved both our starters and mains, noodle and prawn dishes were the ones best liked. They have a full bar and do cocktails and my espresso martini was very tasty, and they gave us a drink on the house at the end as well, so we fell out the door. So not the tastiest Thai food, but great crack, and good value.
Update Sept 24, still mixed bag, weirdly our mains were tastier than the starters, which my lady wife said tasted of nothing! However she very much liked her duck pancake main.

I have been to Siam Thai in Rathmines twice in the last month or so and on both occasions for a birthday dinner. On one of the occasions there was a live singer playing the piano which added to the atmosphere of the restaurant.
The food was absolutely flavourful and well presented. One of the staff had suggested the ‘ Pad Kee Mao’ which I ended up getting on both occasions as I like it the first time. The portions are also very large and filling.
All the staff were delightful especially the woman who believe may be the manager. They also did not rush us to leave at the end as we were taking photographs.
Couldn’t fault anything during our dinner here.
I would also suggest booking in advance especially if you are in a large group. It’s a perfect restaurant for date night, birthdays etc

We really enjoyed our meal last night at Siam Thai. After a film at the Stella, my mother and I escaped from the bad weather and sat down to enjoy an excellent green curry with jumbo prawns, and a fantastic panang curry with vegetables. The prawns were juicy and sweet, the vegetables fragrant and spicy. The service was lovely – attentive and warm.
My only real issue was with the noise levels – it was so loud when we went in, we couldn’t hear each other speak. I expected it to be busy on a Friday of course but the volume was truly deafening – I think next time I’ll choose a quieter evening.
One small thing – the chairs were bucket style and I found them narrow. I would ask for a different style seat next time, as there were normal chairs and banquettes.
