I’ve been eating at Siam for the last dozen years. A couple of years ago, the food quality dropped off, as other reviewers mention, and I quit eating there. I’ve been back twice in the past month, once for lunch and once for dinner, and am thrilled to report that Nat (the owner) has the food back to extra delicious. He’s also re-done the decor, such that it is a bit more trendy, with less emphasis on Thai cultural art. I am looking forward to eating there on a regular basis again.

Wonderful place – We ate here before a show and were very pleasantly surprised. This restaurant is new inside with very interesting design and decorating features. We are new to Thai food so were apprehensive, but we each had a dish featuring basil leaves and loved the unique flavor. Next time we’ll try the traditional curry dishes. They look great too. Nice that they serve beer and wine. Our server was not real experienced, but was efficient. Give this place a try.

Food is fine, but Cambodian thai is so much better. Siam Thai does have a larger dining area than Cambodian thai. Occasionally they serve a duck dish which is really not very good. Also, note that the spice level at Siam is pretty low…one can ask for 4/5 on the spice scale and be just fine.

We don’t eat here very often (we don’t dine out very often) but have enjoyed this place for years. Nat is a very welcoming host. I particularly like the Gang Dang – he used to offer a spicy beef and cabbage salad that was fantastic, as well. Hopefully, he will bring that back in the future.
