Service was great but food is very expensive for what it is. Don’t get me wrong, the food was nice but £4 for a can of coke and £3.80 for some prawn crackers is a bit excessive. Soup was nice but very small portion and didn’t have much to it. Mains were really nice but couldn’t finish mine because it was too sweet. Got a bit of a shock when the bill came and noticed the price. Then we noticed why we kept seeing people leaving the restaurant and coming back. It was because they were only telling people quietly after the meals that it was cash only instead of letting people know at the beginning.
It is nice food but prices seem more expensive than city centre thai restaurants tbh which is unfortunate.
We chose the Supreme Platter and got to try five different appetizers. Each one had its own character and was really delicious! The Tom Yum Soup wasn’t too sour and was full of flavor. The Chicken with Cashew Nuts (Grandma’s Secret Recipe) was seasoned just right — definitely worth a try! The Pad Thai noodles had a great texture, not soggy at all, and the taste was excellent.
I truly enjoyed the whole dining experience and will definitely come back again. Next time, I hope to try the sticky rice — it’s my daughter’s favorite dessert!
Thai chefs use more sugar because Thai cuisine traditionally requires sweetness to balance salt, sour, and spice. It’s a cultural flavour philosophy, not a mistake.
Apart from savoury dishes which are too sweet, everything else is excellent
– The guy is super friendly.
– The food is tasty and well priced.
– It is cash only.
– You can call or text to make a reservation. The place is quite small though.
– I’d recommend the duck massaman. The chicken panang was tasty too. The Pad Thai combo was alright.
– if you get the supreme platter (choice of 5 starters) then I’d probably skip the tempura vegetables and the chicken satay as they are quite plain. The rest of the starters (and the sauces) were great.
– The dishes were all quite mild.
“Siam Supreme offers a warm and inviting atmosphere reminiscent of home. The service is exceptional, and the Thai cuisine is truly delightful. I particularly enjoyed their beef salad, jungle curry, Tom Yum soup, and Pad Thai. Each dish was bursting with authentic flavors and made with care. Whether you’re craving a spicy kick or a comforting bowl of noodles, Siam Supreme delivers a fantastic dining experience that keeps you coming back for more.”
– Lunch menu for about £12.99 per dish.
– Free parking spots
– Cash only
– Clean environment, including toilet
Great spot and will def recommend.
