Walked in here recently because we were doing a grocery run in Irvine and I needed a quick bite. We usually judge a Thai place by their sausage. I’m usually used to the savory, rich type, so the sour taste here was different, but honestly, it was still really good.
My wife got the crispy pork, she was hoping for pork belly, but it leaned more towards tenderloin. Still tasty though. I got the Duck Curry, which was excellent. It was thick and flavorful (not watery like other places) and the lychee was an awesome surprise.
Another really good surprise: They had the traditional Isan sauce, Jeow Som, right on the spice rack. That’s a legit touch you don’t always see. Not the absolute best I’ve ever had, but definitely great food for the area. No complaints!

I recently dined at Siam Station on Jeffrey in Irvine and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience.

We ordered Tom Kha Kai ($17) with an additional $3 for prawns, Pad See Ew ($16) with a $3 filet mignon add-on, and a Roast Duck Curry ($20), among other items. Our total came to over $88 after tax.

What was shocking was the portion of protein served. The Tom Kha Kai with added prawns contained only about four small pieces of shrimp. The Pad See Ew with filet mignon add-on had roughly four small pieces of beef. For dishes priced around $20 — especially with additional charges for upgraded protein — the portion was extremely minimal and did not feel reasonable for the price.

When I politely asked about the portion size, the manager’s response was simply that “everyone gets the same amount” and that this is just how they serve it. There was no attempt to address the concern or offer any accommodation.

Paying close to $90 for dinner and receiving such limited protein portions feels disappointing and not reflective of fair value. I understand rising food costs, but transparency and customer care matter.

Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not return.

We enjoyed our experience overall.
The roti with curry tasted good but was hard to eat, since the curry is thin and doesn’t cling well to the roti.
The pad Thai was good; nothing out of the ordinary.
The moo ping and sticky rice was delicious, but the pork portion is a bit small and the sauce is an acquired taste.
Service is efficient.

had very high expectations for this Thai restaurant, and after waiting for a while, I finally got to try the food for the first time last Sunday.
The staff were generally friendly, and as expected from a newer restaurant these days, the place was clean and had a modern vibe.
The disappointing part was that it felt too Americanized, so I couldn’t really experience the traditional culture of Thailand.
The Pad Thai and crab fried rice were both satisfying in terms of quality and portion size,
but the Pad Thai was overly sweet.
They also don’t serve beer or wine yet, which is another reason I’m hesitant to go back.
Overall, it’s a restaurant that gets the basics right, but it’s not particularly charming or memorable.

Siam Station finally opens up near our house, and it doesn’t disappoint!!! The food is as amazing as the other location. We ordered the pad thai beef and tom kha chicken, and they were delicious!!! The service was wonderful and our server was attentive. The owner also greeted us to make sure everything was satisfactory. The new restaurant has a great ambiance, acoustics, and decor! It’s a big upgrade from the other location. We will definitely come back again!!!

Loved everything I ordered — the yellow curry with chicken, pad thai with crispy pork, and fried tofu were all delicious. (We don’t come here without getting the mango sticky rice) — Great atmosphere, and the service was prompt and friendly. So happy they opened this location! ❤️

Siam Station Thai was truly the epitome of satisfication in regard to it’s ambiance and aesthetical depiction, however especially it’s dish preparation and taste.

From the moment we entered the restaurant, nostalgic feelings flooded through the crevices of my lilac-red blood infused veins.

I truly–from the depths of my heart–recommend Siam Station Thai Restaurant and bestow it with an accolade of perfection.

The tangy, pungent flavors, perfectly aligned with the dish fabrication adjoined hands in creating a wondrous display.

In addition, the customer service–I simply have no words to describe it–was splendid and magisterial.

Thank you Siam Station Thai Street Food for harnessing such a ‘no-causticity’ food display and customer service provisions.

I thoroughly recommend SSTSF to all connosieurs of Thai Food.

Today was my first time ever coming to Siam Station. As soon as I took my first bite into their mango sticky rice I could feel the colors burst in my mouth. The tastiness of the blue rice and the texture of the yellow mango blended into my mouth super well. I would definitely come back to this outstanding and wonderful restaurant.
