We ordered dumplings with chicken and a chicken-coconut stew with rice. We paid around 32 usd. The food came quite fast. The food was served on real plates with metal silverware, which is very appreciated – no plastic waste.
I liked the dumplings and the stew, however my partner was not happy with the stew. He pointed out that the nuts were too soft and that some potatos had black stains. The worst was when we found a long black hair (see one of the pics) in the stew :(( after that my appetite was gone, good that I haven’t eaten it.
Overall I think this is a nice place with a very Asian atmosphere, the staff was polite, the interior was styled, floors and tables were clean.. I would put a higher rating, but our food experience was not the best, I simply cannot tolerate hairs in food 🙁
The pad see ew was good with nice portion sizes. Quite tasty with a little bit of spicy heat and crunchy broccoli and well cooked beef. Rice noodles were large and chewy with a very authentic texture.
Overall it’s on par with many other Thai restaurants in the area but not exceptional.
When they are busy, service is slow – the tables around me were complaining about how long their dishes were taking. The decor is also very tired – worn carpets and seats. When a place presents like this, you know the food has to be decent, otherwise they’d be out of business.
The staff was kind. I like Thai cuisines and have tried multiple places, but the food here was okay. Veg spring rolls were very bland and were full of only cabbage. Drunkun noodles were good. Pad Thai was decent. Overall 3/5 if I average out all the three dishes.
They also haven’t refilled our water in half an hour.
