Excellent Thai food. Not really much else to say about it. Wife got the pad Thai and I got the drunken noodles (they call it something different but it’s the same). Took it to go, although I had to wait a while because they were very busy with to go orders, but now I understand why. The staff was friendly and the inside is a little small. Wouldn’t really support big parties. But they do have an outside area although it’s really small too. This place is probably the local go to spot for take out. Highly recommend.

It’s a nice surprise to find a place to grab dinner that is well priced, good portions and tasty. I went out to grab dinner with my coworker while working in Monterey. I had the drunken noodles with tofu which were altered to include not only the flat noodles but to include the silver noodles. This gives it a different texture to the dish which I learned from my Thai restaurant back in the Bay area. Really glad the chef was able to accommodate the requests. The dish was very tasty. One of my co-workers had the red curry with pork, excellent according to him. My other co-worker had the Pad se ew which he said was very good. I forgot to inquire about the other dish, which I believe is ginger and pork. We were all very satisfied with the food. Our waitress was very helpful and friendly. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in town.

Although located in an unassuming little yellow cottage off the main road, Siam Marina Thai Cuisine tries its best to make its presence known. Its magenta trim and string lights guide you in. As you enter, the cozy building is cleaved in twain, leaving a tiny yet comfortable and inviting dining room on one side and a cloistered kitchen on the other. You find yourself blanketed within bright pink walls and cheerfully colorful decor. The kitchen is close enough to where you can hear the bubbling of fryer oil and vigorous conversations in Thai — I can imagine it’s quite fun when the place is full (I came for lunch and it was completely empty).
I wanted to try something really spicy as I like to test my limits (and the restaurant’s), but the mango curry caught my eye, so instead I decided to see how a fruit would fit in to the meal.
The fried fish cakes I ordered as well were quite good, but I was mostly impressed with everything around them. The sauce they came with was delightful and filled with fresh vegetables, and they were topped with freshly fried basil that was maybe just a tad undercrisped. The fish cakes had a bit of a leathery exterior, but were juicy and not soaked in oil as I had feared might be the case.
As I first began trying the curry, I was a little disappointed. The mango, I thought, felt out of place in both taste and texture, and the curry itself did not have an identifiable mango flavor beyond that. But it quickly grew on me, and again I found that everything tasted very fresh: the vegetables were just crunchy enough and the curry sauce was bold yet sweet. I ended up eating every last bit of mango.
Thai cuisine is not one that I am well acquainted with but it is one I’d like to try more often, and Siam Marina was a decided boost of confidence. I commend their practice and wish them well.

We had a delicious dinner at Siam Marina Thai Cuisine. There was plenty of parking in the rear secured by cameras. Upon entering, the vibe was vibrant with decorations depicting Thailand and its culture. This created a soothing ambience for us. Patio seating is also available. The menu had a plethora of items including many vegetarian options. Each item can be customized accordingly with the protein of your choice and the spicy level. They made the yellow curry correctly non-spicy as requested for kids. Noodle soup gave the perfect warmth for the windy climate in the area. The fried tofu was a great appetizer. The service was warm and welcoming. Restroom was super clean. Payment can be made by cards or mobile.

This place is definitely a hidden gem as it is one of the best Thai restaurants we had in the area. Service was great and friendly.
They have a great menu selection. The dishes we had were all delicious with the spice level just right. Fresh and quality ingredients too. And not to mention, the price is fair!
Great experience overall and definitely recommend to anyone who loves Thai cuisine, even if you’re just passing by on a road trip or vacation!

Great spot! There’s convenient parking behind the restaurant, which made things easy. The service was friendly and attentive. Prices were reasonable, and the portions were generous—definitely good value for the money. The place was also clean and well-maintained. Overall, a solid dining experience.

This place is a hidden gem.
Family owned business with a very “simple” taste. But don’t get me wrong, what’s unique to this place is its simplicity in taste.
Came here after a long hike and was super hungry. I loved all the items we ordered.
Tom Kha Soup had a rich coconut flavor to it. It’s a little sweet, but we got some chili oil to spice it up.
Green Curry was very good too! Like I said before, it was so simple and there was nothing fancy to it. Most of the other Thai places in the US add a rich creamy flavor. And it’s a little sad that the authenticity of the food is lost in the process. This family owned business really got it unique and right!
Pad Thai was super tasty too!
We went close to the closing time and felt hungry after ordering a few items. If we’d been to a fancy place, I bet it’d have been like other places where they would simply refuse because the kitchen is closed (or some other reason). I could visually see that they were closing the restaurant and the kitchen. And I politely requested them for an additional item. The waitress was very understanding and offered us more after the restaurant closing time (kitchen closes 8:15, restaurant closes 8:30, i had requested for more food at 8:40 🙂 I felt very touched and valued as a customer, tbh 🙂

The food was very tasty, service was friendly, helpful and fast. I had the lunch combo special with the red curry heat lvl 5. Had a broad flavor profile and the heat even brought out a little sweat.

The food served here was amazing, and the service was exceptional. I ordered the spicy fried rice, Thai red curry, and Mongolian chicken from the lunch specials, and it was all fabulous. This is a budget-friendly place that I highly, highly recommend if you’re visiting Monterey.
