It is a small restaurant and we couldn’t make a last minute reservation, so we took our chances. When we walked it, the server told us that we can have a table, but will need to be out in 1.5 hours. I thought it was a fair option, because we didn’t have a reservation.
We ordered:
Pad Prit Kang Moo Grob (month special) – very flavorful with a good spicy kick, but a little dry for us.
Chicken Satay – well prepared, not dry at all. Love the sauce on the side.
Going Grob – this was the highlight for me. A novelty, but also the crunch with the prawns and sauce was awesome.
Virgin Mai Thai – it was good, but a bit pricey.
I don’t have a whole lot of knowledge with Thai food, so for the ones that think that this is not authentic, I can’t comment, but if it’s SO good, do we really care if this is not authentic?
The service that I had was pretty outstanding for me, better than most restaurants that I have recently been to. My server lady was super nice and took the time to explain everything. All the other servers were very friendly to me as well.
Prices were fairly reasonable, except for the drinks. Would want to come back and try other dishes.
The crab fried rice was amazing, its a menu you can hardly find in Thai restaurants.
The sauces that they gave for the fried rice was unique and elevated the fried rice.
The pork was cooked to perfection!
The skewers were tender , enough for 2 people ( 2 each) and the sauce was very delicious perfect for cutting out the spice of other dishes.
The chicken coconut soup was fresh , earthy , and definetly perfect for a light dinner . It was very comforting, and no spicy at all.
The drunken noodles were bomb , though it was my partners dish and he ordered Thai spicy level, great for him but I got a headache and a bit stunned on how spicy it was ; nonetheless delicious !!! But be careful with the spice level.
The dessert was a great surprise , did not expect it since it was not on the menu. Super sweet mango and warm sticky rice.
The service was very prompt, hostess and server very friendly . Loved our interaction. I highly recommend this spot. We will be back for sure !
What we ordered:
– crispy pork belly
• not too greasy or fatty
• breading wasnt too thick 🙂
-calamari
• a little on the hard and chewy side but not complaining
– stuffed chkn wings
• nice and stuffed with filling
– drunken noodle
• (Father ordered this) really liked it but wish he ordered it spicier (not their fault)
– pad ka pao bbq duck
• duck was cooked perfectly. Not too dry or chewy
• veggies had a great crunch!
Overall the food was amazing but the service was even better. The manager was aware of my many allergies and happily answered all my questions. She seemed very sweet and genuine. She was very honest about what I could eat and could not. They were more than happy to accommodate all my dietary needs.
My whole family had a great time and we are earnest to come back soon!:)
We went for and early lunch on a Sunday and it was very busy.
Spring rolls are large, didn’t expect that as a lot of other places serve the little “fingerling” rolls. Very crispy and good mixture of veggies and meat on the inside.
Lettuce wrap was the favorite dish. Delicious filling, lots of fresh crisp lettuce, and the little deep fried noodles add some nice texture. It’s another large dish.
Green curry with chicken and jasmine rice. Good flavours (we ordered mild but probably could have gotten medium as it wasn’t that spicy). Good textures as the peppers were still a little crisp and the eggplant wasn’t mushy.
