Ordered appetizers: ( spring rolls , pork satay) we weren’t fans of the spring rolls but the pork was delish.
Drinks: Thai iced tea (definitely recommend) and jasmine hot tea
Entrees: Sweet and sour beef at a 4
And Cashew chicken at a 1.
Both entrees were very flavorful, veggies were crisp, the spicy level at 4 is spicy but not overbearing it’s a good level.
Overall great atmosphere and service.
And all in all was a total of about $56 so not a bad price point either for 2 people.

The food here is our favorite!
The hours are indeed unpredictable as they say they will be open but aren’t. Which sucks cause they would be booming with business they missing out on. I do understand the owns is having health issues and needs someone else to run it but the food taste will probably change at that point and it will definitely be heartbreaking.
But definitely 10/10 for drunken fried rice!

On the left is what the menu offered
On the right is what they brought
Crispy fried duck with sauce on the side is how we were expecting the dish to come.
When we pointed out to the staff that there was a discrepancy and we didn’t order the red sauce on the crispy duck they said, “Sorry we have old menus, we started putting the sauce on top sometimes.”
The kitchen staff wouldn’t remake or change the order. The server was really embarrassed. The kitchen staff couldn’t care less about customers or how they are serviced.
It’s very disappointing to see such a nice restaurant go down so much over the years.

Like Thai food, pick a menu item. 3 on the spice scale is worthy of a water refill, but it’s not an emergency. Enjoy Pad Thai, try the combination plate. You won’t be disappointed.

It was 1:14PM when I walked in. The lady at counter tells me they’re closed. I asked what time do you close? She says 1:30PM. So do you close at 1:14PM or 1:30PM? And you’re literally gonna open back up in a few hours. You’ve gotta be kidding. I’ll obviously never visit this place again in life if it were my last meal and I hope everyone else does the same. Great job of running off a customer by closing before you’re actually closed. Smh Y’all find somewhere else to eat. This place can’t go out of business fast enough for me. In a small town like this, you make a practice of running off customers. Terrible!!

If you want a cream meal and a friendly waitress that knows your order when you walk in after 6 months. Thus is the place

The food is always good here. The service is excellent and friendly. I’ve been eating here for a long time and never disappointed. They sometimes change their hours unexpectedly since is a family run restaurant.

Our server Princess was very nice. Food has gotten better. This is a small little Thai place that is a hidden gem on the East side of houma louisiana. Nice little spot for date very small.and quiet. Their curry is very good.

Updated: This used to be one of my favorite restaurants, but now their schedule and hours aren’t reliable or accurate. Plenty of times I’ve called to make a to-go order, stopped by for lunch or dinner when they should’ve been open and found the doors locked and no one there. Today, I went by for a late lunch around 1:30. The OPEN sign was turned off, but the door was open and the sign on the door says they’re open until 2 for lunch. When I walked in I got turned around. The waitress said the kitchen was cleaned up and closed, and that she had turned the OPEN sign off. That was the last time I’ll waste my time going there; there’s a Japanese sushi place across the road that’s open all day, 7 days a week. I wouldn’t give them less than 2 stars though; because if you are lucky enough to catch them when they are open and serving, I’ve tried everything on the menu and the food is usually pretty good.
Old “5 star” Review: I’ve been to several Thai restaurants throughout the state, and around the country, I’ve even been to Thailand once. Of all the other Thai restaurants I’ve been to, this is the best and reminds me very much of the flavors of real Thailand.
