I’ve been coming here for six years, and while the food hasn’t changed, the crowds have definitely grown. I was surprised to see it packed on a Tuesday night with people waiting outside.
The atmosphere and service are fairly standard. Because they were in a rush, the staff missed some food crumbs on the seats and didn’t wipe the table thoroughly. We ordered quickly to beat the rush from the group behind us.
As for the food, the bone-in fried chicken is always a winner—tender, moist, and crispy. The Pad Thai is actually one of the closest versions I’ve had to ‘real’ Thai food (told by thai friend). I personally didn’t care for the spring rolls or the beef in the green curry (I prefer chicken), but that’s just a preference.
Everything we ordered feed 3 adults and 1 child.
Prices are standard for Hawaii Thai spots. For spice, ‘Medium’ is my limit—it’s definitely an ‘American Medium,’ not ‘Thai Medium.’ I’ll be back, though the parking setup and the location are a bit of a hassle.

My knowledge base is one dinner. I ordered Massaman Curry. What was presented tasted like massaman curry paste with a 50/50 mix of coconut milk and water. The potatoes were hard and tasteless. The dish did not feel carefully prepared. I usually like to leave positive reviews, but this was a disappointing dish compared to other versions of Massaman Curry I’ve had in Thailand and Australia. I think three stars is generous. My companion’s dish was equally unremarkable. On the positive side, service was friendly and quick and the restaurant had a good ambiance.

Ordered take-out. Papaya salad was delivered in a soup container – but only half filled. Portion for one person. Tasted ok.
Order Thai fried rice with pork – had no flavor and 2 pieces of cucumber sitting on top. Needed salt, pepper, something to give it Thai flavor. Very disappointing and overpriced.

Haven’t been here in a while. Food is still delicious. Hubby got the ice Thai coffee, yellow chicken curry and chicken satay. I got the Thai pho and the spiciest papaya salad. Normally,we get our own because I like it spicy and hubby does like spicy food. This time the papaya salad was super spicy so I took it home and mix it with other stuff I had at home to balance out the spicy flavor. Server was nice and quick. Nice quiet place to dine in for dinner. It gets crowded around dinner time.

Work lunch today with 3 folks. Setting was comfortable the discussing business went well. Food was very good. The “regulars” went for the pineapple curry which seemed delicious. I tried the chicken chow fun and certainly was not disappointed. Summers rolls completed a very good meal. Recommend giving it a try.

The food here has been excellent for years. My fav dish is the drunken noodles. The ambience is Thai inspired with gold finishes. There is parking in front of the restaurant off Nimitz or under the building. I highly recommend them. FYI, they don’t take reservations.
