Absolutely outstanding! Siam Express has become our go-to spot for incredible takeout, and our recent order of orange chicken, fried shrimp, and chicken wings was nothing short of perfection. The orange chicken was a masterpiece—tender, juicy pieces of chicken coated in a glossy, tangy orange sauce that struck the ideal balance of sweet, citrusy brightness and subtle heat. Every bite exploded with flavor, crispy on the outside yet succulent inside.
The fried shrimp were equally impressive: plump, fresh shrimp perfectly battered and fried to golden crispiness, without a hint of greasiness. They were light, flavorful, and paired beautifully with the dipping sauce. And the chicken wings? Wow—crispy skin, perfectly seasoned, and so addictive we couldn’t stop reaching for more.
Portions were generous, everything arrived hot and fresh, and the quality shines through in every dish. Siam Express delivers restaurant-level excellence with fast, friendly service. If you’re craving bold, satisfying flavors, this is the place—highly recommend! We’ll be back soon for more. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This is some of the best Thai food I’ve ever had, and by far the best Thai food I’ve had in Sacramento and even the Bay. I’ve had Tom Sum many, many times, only because other people always insist on ordering it, and I’m stuck eating it. I’ve never liked it. I took one taste of my mom’s Tom Sum here, and I had to go back two days later to get my own! The flavor was outstanding! My mom had shrimp in hers, and the shrimp was fresh and tender. I had chicken in mine, and it was also very tender. The other food I’ve had there has been delicious. My mother got quail eggs in tamarind sauce. Now that’s something I normally would never order on my own, but it was absolutely delicious. I tried the spicy fish as well, and you could really taste all the flavors, especially basil–my favorite. This food is the real deal. Probably the only place I will bother getting Thai food from now on. Hope they remain in business for many, many years.

Have gotten the Chicken Pad Thai twice and it is one of my favorites of all the Pad Thai I’ve had over the years. The first time I ever ordered from this place was New Year’s Day. I put in an online order and they called me immediately saying that the mall they were in closed early that day but I tell him when I was arriving he would meet me outside. He did exactly that. They even put special cookies in the bags that said Happy New Year. Food is excellent and service is even better. This is my one and only Thai go to place.

1 of 5 spots in the SF Supermarket Food Court. The fried ribs were enormous; comes with a side of rice and their version of coleslaw. Cream cheese wontons were as expected. Their food is delicious.

Definitely recommend trying this place out. Siam Express is a new, unassuming fast-casual restaurant in the SF Supermarket food court. Their menu offers more variety of main dishes than the typical Thai standards like pad thai. I ordered the khao mok beef this afternoon and it was absolutely delicious! The marinated slow-cooked beef was so tender and it paired well with the herbal rice and fish dipping sauce. Flavors were really good and portion-sizes are reasonable. I’ll be coming back to try their other dishes.

Ordered chicken pad thai… and I probably won’t return. I questioned the color (because I’ve never seen pink pad thai). The noodles were too wet. And it was more sour than expected.

Great food! I’ve tried almost everything on the menu and everything is yummy. They’re actually the previous owners of Thai Smile, so you can still order the old favorites too, which I love. I enjoy trying everything and I’ve never been disappointed!

This place is tucked in the food court just outside the SF Market along with numerous other restaurants. I ordered the chicken curry #11 with medium spice, and was pleasantly surprised with the freshness and abundance of food for the price.
I typically don’t like bamboo, but something about the way this place prepared this dish made me rethink. The spice level was truly medium to my taste, and I will definitely be coming back to try the rest of their menu!
