Do NOT order curry from them if that’s what you want, especially if its Panang Curry, the last time they made it; it was like an American made it, not Thai at all, Panang has a unique flavor, not like other curries, they made it for me twice the SAME way, bland and overly sweet, I showed the cook & the 10 staff on hand, NOBODY would taste it, if you cook it, taste it, just by looking at it, you can tell its not Panang Curry or any type of Thai Curry, it was really gross like a little kid who has a sweet tooth made it, so sweet with coconut milk w/sugar in it….so they came to the CONCLUSION that “WE USE THE SAME BASE FOR ALL CURRIES, ALL CURRIES WILL TASTE LIKE THIS” I was shocked I have ordered Panang from them before in the past & it was delicious & *correct* Panang flavor. I guess they are putting their focus on Pho now & not on Thai, I suggest you go to Thai Orchid or Thai Kitchen or any where else for Thai, this is no longer the spot for Thai, sad to say. I been eating with them for over 10 years but no more now, here is the photo of my “Panang Curry” the last plate I will ever get from them. If you want Pho, I would go to them but not Thai, don’t waste your money. Also I REFUSED to keep my money, I’m NOT there for a refund, I just wanted them to fix my plate to the correct Panang Curry, I PUT MY REFUND IN THE TIP JAR in front of the staff…. so they know I am not there for my money, I am there for good food…. single Mom of 5 that was my treat for myself I do at least once a month….maybe they can buy the correct ingredients with that tip. Who knows….. thanks for reading.

We tried Siam cuisine tonight for dinner and it was amazing. The food was hot, fresh, and packed with flavor. We ordered chicken fried rice, and Mongolian beef, both our entrees came with egg drop soup, which was the best I’ve ever had in my life !!! Only complaint was it took a little minute for our server to put our order in but once back in the kitchen it came out fast.

Siam Cuisine has been a longtime favorite of mine for Thai food, and now that I don’t live in Alaska I try to make sure to grab some when I visit. Today I needed to pick up lunch to go, so I ordered their lunch special combo with a fresh roll, pad Thai chicken, and Panang Curry with chicken. I have always loved their Panang curry and this time was no different. I highly recommend (it’s good without chicken too, as a vegetarian dish).

As this was a to go order, I appreciated how well-packaged my food was. No spills or leaks on my drive!

And the lunch special combo was a really good value for the quantity of food you end up with. It even comes with a soup, and dip for the fresh spring roll. You have a choice of type of spring roll and there are multiple entrees to choose from including 4 different curries. The quality of the meat and veggies is great too.

Good food. The menu was extensive, making it difficult to finalize the dishes. I had the Drunken noodles, and deep fried spring rolls, and they were spicy and flavourful. Service was fast and there was plenty of seating available.

Wow.

That’s first impressions for everything here. Service is friendly and a simple environment to be in, not too lively to just a bit when it picks up. When food arrived, that’s where it shined. The Pho combo was rich in umami while being light in the broth, as if they mixed vegetable and beef broth together in taste and delight. Pretty unique compared to the vietnamese restaurants around with their pho, but not too different. Yet what they made went far above others. Then, when I tried the fried chicken from the appetizer menu, another wow. Sweet and sour, but not too much on it, nice and crispy too yet juicy.

I have to say the price is very much worth it here, so I highly recommend it as much as my friend recommends this place to me.

Been here over half a dozen times. Food is always fresh and delicious. Spring rolls are a must try! They also make custon drinks such as black tea, pink drink, thai tea etc. All are delicious and a must try with your meal.
They also have a nice lunch menu option where you can try two different things. Their curries are very good!

I have had multiple dinners here including two birthday parties but sadly the restaurant has slowly gone downhill since last year. I have been in Anchorage for about a year now and this used to be one of my go to restaurants for me and my family.

Since the ownership has changed we notice a steep decline in the service and qualify of the food. The new waitresses unusually aggressive and rude, sometimes coming off as condescending. Today was the last straw as my wife and I found a long grey and black hair in our food which was absolutely disgusting. My wife had already eated half the plate and was completely mortified. I was absolutely disappointed as this was a place referred by a colleague of mine. When showed the waitress she unapologetically said she was unsure she could do something and took the plate to the back. After a few minutes she brought a half plate back of the same dish but my wife had already lost her appetite. The waitress seemed annoyed as she just dropped the plate on the table and walked off without saying a thing.

We went to the check desk to pay for the meal and sure enough she never told thr manager that she found a hair in the meal. When we complained further the manager seemed to think we were making it up until we requested that the waitress come over. She then proceed to say the truth about what happened but they seemed offended that we even made it an issue. Keep in mind this is a restaurant we have been going to multiple times for a year straight! To top it off my wife attempted to talk to them before we left one last time to find the previously apologetic manager mocking her in front of the other coworkers. Completely unprofessional and shows a lack of character. This was a relatively simple issue to resolve that turned into a missed opportunity on their part.

Not going to lecture people on how to run their restaurant, but I can’t honestly recommend this place anymore to my folks at JBER or any other visitors anymore. The food was alot tasty before the management changed but to find tons of hair in your noodles is frankly disgusting. For the price and the quality there are a ton of other better restaurants. Just sad to see things end up like so.

The best oxtail soup I ever have is here! My wife ordered pho with white pork sausage, and she loved it

I preferred my soup without noodles, the waiter was kindly offered me the vegetables for substitute. The broth was tasty and my oxtail was cooked very well.
